    Good Morning All

Loads of rain last night but now sunshine :j I love Autumn, so glad to get this disappointment of a summer over with.

Saw some of the Paralympic Ceremony, wasn't the same with the adverts but I love seeing our athletes - very emotional.

Today will be a pottering day, have no plans for the last few days of the holidays, the kids argue with each other whatever we do so they can do it for free at home :rotfl: actually there is generally less arguing as DS goes out with his mates.

May pop out today to get some lorry tax, thats if I can find all the stuff I need. I am so disorganised after a year of illness then no energy but I aim to start organising myself when the kids are back to school.

Not sure what is for dinner, have lots in so will decide in due course.

    Have a great day all.x

    Morning all,

Not raining here yet but looks like it will, got 2 loads to do in the wm, will do one and see what the weather is doing.

Got the final coats on the window sill and radiator yesterday, and OH and I fitted new architrave and half of the skirting boards, my knees are protesting with all the kneeling and up and down, but the room looks great, rest of the skirting today, then filing the fixing holes.

Dropping dd off at work this morning, and I have Ocado delivering at 12, another£20 off voucher :j. Dinner will be bacon egg and chips.

Bitsy I really hope your DH finds something soon xxx

esmf, hope they sort something out for your ds, and that hubby is ok xx

    Have good days all xx

Only me in the school today, other than the chickens, and they are great listeners but not great at conversations.

    morning all!

    2 days off now:j

art class this morning then I'm picking Mum up off the train as she's up for a week, she's housesitting for her sister. Don't know where Mum gets her energy from, she's always on the go and she's nearly 71!

Laundry galore to do here plus a bit of ironing. Have had a good clean through. Want to get DH to take the lampshade down in the bedroom as its looking rather grotty!

Risotto tonight I think for tea.

    Bitsy - hope DH soon finds a new job x x x

Have a great day all x

    Morning :hello:

It rained all day yesterday. My day went like this - grate some cheese, check FB, slice some tomatoes, check MSE, am I sure there's no washing to do? check basket, check FB, bring down hangers from wardrobes and put them in size order for the next lot of dry clothes (yes really, I was THAT bored), check FB and MSE.

The strawberries have decided to grow six flowers :rotfl: Better late than never I suppose. There's loads of blackberries, I'll do a taste test later. Sometimes they look ready but are really sour. Must pick more tomatoes too.

I need to write a shopping list. I went through the cupboards yesterday, lined up all the tins, jars etc. - even turned them so all the labels are facing forward! We're low on a few things so I'll stock back up this weekend.

The weather looks a bit better today so I'll get outside and sort out the pots, chairs, etc.

Has just poured down here:eek: Replaced the 4.5 duvet with the 10.5 I'm not using the winter one yet:rotfl:

Yesterday my cousin fixed my sewing machine, and I taught her how to change her Facebook photo and set up an ebay sellers account. Horses for courses!:T

Had 10 chips, poached egg and peas for dinner last night. Poached egg again for breakfast. How did Charles Saachi live on a diet of eggs? It gets tedious after three days:rotfl:

We are out to dinner three times over the weekend, don't know how the diet is going to go.:o
