Definitely BA as I can't stand flying with Easyjet.0

I would always choose BA over Easyjet ........... but to add some facts to the debate:
London-Rome 2011 flight delay results (rounded)
Average delay: EZY 10 mins, BA 12 mins
Operated within 15 mins: EZY 80%, BA 77%
Over 1 hour late: EZY 3%, BA 3%
Number fo flights analysed: EZY 2,404, BA 5,381
Make your own mind up but there's not much in it really

The big difference is that if there is a major problem with your flight then BA will sort you out. With EasyJet you are pretty much on your own.
If the prices (including luggage) as similar then I'd choose BA every time. EZY would have to be at least £50 cheaper for me to consider them.0 -
I'd pick BA though there are pros and cons with both. With BA you'll get a free drink/snack onboard and Avios/tier points. However, EJ has several flights a day from LGW whereas BA only has one. That may well sway it in favour of EJ for you as you'll be less vulnerable to cancellations (flying from LHR with BA would eliminate that advantage though).0

That's not true at all. If there's a problem, EJ will book you on the next available flight, just like BA would (except there'll be no next available flight from LGW with BA as noted above).0 -
Thanks for your responses, BA it is.0

I'd chose the one with the most convenient flight times ie early flight there and not a very early one back.0

I'd take easyJet but only if they were cheaper. Purely because if your flight is cancelled there is another flight to book you on, unlike BA's 'you can go to Heathrow or fly tomorrow', which I've had in the past. Also to me, easyJet's FAs seem friendlier than BA's robots.0

BA have a far greater contingency, where as Easyjet don't. I've seen BA run long haul planes on domestic and short haul routes to maintain timetables. Easyjet can't.
I'd be more worried about the return flight if that went wrong - Easyjet will dump you whereas BA won't.Legal team on standby0
