After seeing that Virgin were offering BB at £10 per month I'd thought I'd take it up.
Seems it is ONLY for those on cable though, this doesn't include me, what a diappointment. I'd got myself all fired up over nothing.

If you live in a cable area you can get it as a standalone product for £10 for first 12 months.0

Virgin have a good deal - £19.99 for 8mb bb, and anytime calls.
Staff extremely helpful.
A word of advice - wait until Monday before you transfer to them. There will be a nice surprise - wink-wink.0 -

A BT Line is required for this £19.99p offer see http://allyours.virginmedia.com/html/internet/noncable.html
You appear to be mixing up Virgin cable bb with Virgin non-cable bb.

yeh but the threads about virgin cable bb £10 per month0 -
I might be wrong but reading that it means it still isnt £19,99 its £19.99 to virgin and about £10 line rental to BT so really its then £29,99 a month so the op is right it isnt as good a deal as they believed.
And ianian99 is right cable is coax and fibre optics, telephone line is telephone line 2 completely different entities but both can supply broadband. If it doesnt pay rent sell it.
