    Ridiculous!! DO no apologise!!!!! He should WANT to support his daughter.

    He should want to support his daughter yes, but in this case two wrongs don't make a right. Just because he was wrong in not paying the money he agreed doesn't make it right for the OP to tell him not to see his daughter. It's understandable perhaps if she's upset and frustrated but the only one it's really hurting is the daughter.

    OP, I think it's great you're now going through CSA, that means it will no longer be your job to chase him for money and you can separate out maintenance and access. As much as it might jar to apologise to him, I think for the sake of your daughter I would perhaps contact him to say that you shouldn't have said he couldn't see her and that his daughter misses him. If he still can't be bothered then at least you have tried and if your daughter asks in the future then you know it's through no fault on your part.
