I share out a Whiskas cat pouch between 2 twice a day, between times they eat Asda Tiger cat crunchies. Don't get any complaint from them like

A little grunt a little squeeze and out it comes like lemon cheese

Nothing tight about it, it's the right volume of food for a cat for one meal. They only have tiny stomachs and are grazers by nature so prefer to have access to food most of the day. A bowl of dried biscuits usually suffices with a couple of wet meals a day.

What exactly do cats graze on in the wild?

Pouches are a bit of a con, at least twice the price of a tin, why not just buy a tin & keep in the fridge.
of course you all know both are only 4% meat.

Felix large boxes only contain 44 pouches so it's cheaper to get four boxes of 12. I feed mine one pouch in the morning, one in the evening, but Go-Cat available whenever. It says on the boxes 3-4 pouches a day. To be honest I don't think mine would manage that amount.

I feed two cats with half a pouch each, whenever they want it. They tell me if they want more. There is always Whiskas dry available for grazing if they get a bit peckish or if I go out. I have one cat which will not eat wet food, there are several bowls of water dotted about.

My cats won't eat own label or the cheaper versions, and they won't finish a full tin either. Once opened they wont eat the rest, so it has to be pouches. I stock up when pouches, Felix and Whiskas, are 48 for £10. Never pay full price for it.

    I love skip diving.
    :D
  • Our cats have whiskas or felix senior - a pouch each twice a day and two kinds of royal canin biscuits available all day, however they often have an extra half pouch each later in the evening or midday if we're home or anytime they ask really. No they're not spoilt:D
They won't touch gocat since they changed the recipes a while back. If we give them tins they just lick the jelly off.
I was off to conquer the world but I got distracted by something sparkly :D

It's highly interesting that all those of you buying Whiskas/Felix also feed either Go-Cat or supermarket brand dried food. Junk food at it's best, so not only do they afflict our health but that of our pets' too!

    .

    I agree totally.
My cats have tins of Asda cat meat which is 24 tins for about £10.00. I also get whiskas and Felix and one of the cats has biscuits for elderly cats.
Both of my cats are really well and have lovely fur and I have never had any complaints or turning up of noses at Asda cat meat. I will never buy pouchers because they are a rip off.
