I haven't noticed the 100g ones getting smaller but the new Whiskas Bite and Chew are in an 85g size as are most of Gourmet Perle's range.
Means I've often thought I've got a deal only to realise it's more expensive.0 -
Yes, and some very similar sized packs only have eight pouches in them rather than twelve.
But then again, caveat emptor. It's up to the shopper to read the labels rather than just chucking it in the trolley with their eyes shut, no? There's regular offers on the leading brand cat foods of 48 x 100g pouches for £10, that's the time to stock up.Val.0 -

I think that is very wrong, cats need a certain amount of food a day and a pouch should provide enough for one meal, you could underfeed your cat thinking the pouch is the same.0 -
You can feel by the weight of it and how quick it goes the difference. It's not the bog standard gone down in size, it's the new 'premium' types like the bite and chew like Nimm said.
Mine would soon complain if I didnt feed them enough! lus, it's always better to give them some dried food too. Cats should always have access to food and water according to the pros.Married the lovely Mr P 28th April 2012. Little P born 29th Jan 20140 -
I share out a Whiskas cat pouch between 2 twice a day, between times they eat Asda Tiger cat crunchies. Don't get any complaint from them like0

Those absolutely stink. Bafflingly, my cat that won't touch any other Whiskas, loves these ones that smell like poo. :huh:0 -
I've just bought 120 pouches from Approved Foods. 6 for 99p. 19p each, or 17p if you buy 6 or more. My cat loves them!I Believe in saving money!!!:T
