Yippee,no spends at all,so that's #5 for today please!
I'm doing a wee wiggle 'à ma façon' because I've got the whole weekend off,not just Saturday or Sunday, which often happens, what with doing shifts.I usually work one or the other or both,so this is 'pure dead brilliant'!:j:j
No major plans, though I would like an early night.:)
Fae thanks for the fab update!:D:j
kerri gt Happy Birthday!Sonds like you had a lovely day!:D
freeby 6 in a row -wow!:money:
emslovesmickey what a marathon day you had.:( Nice about the telly though.:)
ChopinonaBudget glad that Miss Bunny is eating again. She must be on the mend.:)
Sazdaz hi and welcome!:hello: Hope you enjoy the challenge!
flukeas I agree with everyone else-class the tolls as essential payments and don't count them-otherwise you'll hardly ever get an nsd!
EverThe Optimist hope everything goes well for hubby.Sorry, missed this-skim reading again
Well done everyone who got an nsd today!:j:j
Have a good weekend everyone.0 -
Kerri happy birthday:D
Chopin so glad to hear bunny's doing better, fingers crossed she's 100% soon
Spoon good luck with the handbag searching!:)
Em great news about the TV:j (note to self - must start entering some competitions!:))Just an idea, but if the tolls are the only thing you spend how about not counting them as a spend day as they are essential for you to get to work?
I used to count everything apart from direct debits but now I also exclude petrol and milk which are both as essential as each other in my house. I was finding that if I knew I was going to be getting petrol, I'd actually end up on spending on other stuff I didn't necessarily need. Now I know if I'm getting petrol I can still get a NSD if I don't spend anything else. Just an idea
Flukeas I agree with Kerri about the tolls ..... I also started not counting essential spends such as petrol - it's an 18 mile round trip to the nearest town where I can get some, so I often top up if I'm passing a fuel station (much more cost effective than doing a trip just for fuel) so I don't let them ruin my NSDs anymore!
Well, very glad it's Friday - like Beanielou I'm feeling a bit cream crackered.
Have managed No 6 todaythe new banana pot has come in handy as I have had to buy 2 lots this week - honestly; I got some really green ones yesterday and I'll be lucky if they're still usable tomorrow
Have a fabby weekend everyone:DGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

rising re the banana dilemma, can't you just buy enough for 2 days at a time.I have a banana most days and have started just buying 2-3 at a time,as I also don't like them too ripe. With your banana pot,it won't count as a spend.0

Claiming NSD's 1, 2 & 3 for Wednesday, Thursday and today as the only places I've been to were the doctor's and chemists. I wish tomorrow could be but DH's mobile has finally died and he needs a new one. It was at least ten years old so it's had a good innings.
Hidden, glad you're not too badly hurt, take care of yourself.
Kerri, belated birthday wishes, glad you enjoyed your day.
Nargle, thanks for starting me coughing again, :rotfl:I love your posts.
Chopin, hope bunny is getting better. pets are such a worry when they are ill.
Hugs to all.
