Declaring NSD 3 for yesterday. Absolutely knackered today. I work in a bookies and my cashier was sick yesterday. They couldn't find a spare so, apart from having an hour and a bit break when someone came in for me, i did a 13 hour shift on my own!
In other news, after buying a new tv and almost losing it to a fiesty feline Tuesday, my mum won a 46 inch tv yesterday at her work! So i can have my lovely new smart tv in my room instead of in the living room. :j0 -
Thank you to everybody who wished my bunny well again :T She ate almost a full bowl last night so I think she's out of the woods now, phew! And I won't bother with the blood tests now as she seems happy to be eating at last.
I've written my next NSD on the calendar, and I'm tempted to make a little game out of these days now, I want to see how much I can 'buy' on an NSD without actually spending money (coupons, vouchers, free food) I'm even happy now with the idea of going out with friends for Wednesday drinks and spending nothing (we go to a local arty farty Arts Centre, they provide free drinking water and disposable cups and don;t bat an eyelid at the occasional person coming in with a thermos. Although a bottle of beer they would draw the line at  )
In our house, when things break, we just pretend they still work0 -

Just an idea, but if the tolls are the only thing you spend how about not counting them as a spend day as they are essential for you to get to work?
I used to count everything apart from direct debits but now I also exclude petrol and milk which are both as essential as each other in my house. I was finding that if I knew I was going to be getting petrol, I'd actually end up on spending on other stuff I didn't necessarily need. Now I know if I'm getting petrol I can still get a NSD if I don't spend anything else. Just an ideaFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
