Can you show us exactly where anyone has told you to go to the doctors please.

In your first post you didnt say anything about debts. We can only go on the details you give from your first post.Rochdale_Guy wrote:Was a pretty bad day at work today, and I think when my redundancy letter finally comes, I won't be able to hack it, and combined with my debts, think I will be off work with stress, but will go and see a Doctor.

And you couldn't manage another month with them? Sorry but people don't want to hear it, mental health makes many feel uneasy, irrespective of the reasons behind it. I'm talking from personal experience here - people don't mind talking about broken bones, but anything psychological and they'll run a mile.0 -
You are public sector, with 10 years service you should get a pretty good wad of cash.0

So no one in the history of the world has gone off work with stress when being told they are being made redundant?.0

Lots of people have, but that doesn't mean it is the best option.
