Selling House /Viewings

the contract was signed 10 days ago on the day they came to take the photos so they have had enough time to call round everyone on their books at least.
I put the pressure on yesterday and and had phoned again this morning and had 3 viewings - 1 who didn't turn up and 1 who said the property was absolutely not what they were looking for as it wasn't big enough as they needed to be able to build an annex for granny. They were very apologetic about wasting my time and not happy with the EA!
I shall just keep phoning.
Shame I signed for 3 months or else I would be gone!
Can I take it off the market then put it on with another estate agent in a few weeks or will I still be liable for their fee up to 3 months?0 -
I am having my first viewing today at 2.30 accompanied by the EA:eek: . It went on the market last Monday and I don't know if it is in the paper or not. It not in the paid for paper as the EA does not advertise there but we have not had a free one this week so who knows
It is on Rightmove though:D .
Fingers crossed for 2.30......if of course the viewer shows up. I shall be online on this site to give the impression I know about stuff, what stuff though, I have no idea:rotfl:
The viewer turned up and raised questions regarding our property that were in the house details supplied by the Estate Agent. If there were so many queries and misgivings, why bother to viewTo Dare is To Do:beer:0 -
Two more viewings since the last post! One said "great house and I like the idea of a seperate bathroom and toilet". The other said "I don't like the house especially the seperate toilet, I would knock the wall down and make a bigger bathroom"
Having said that, neither made an offer:mad: Lets hope that after the Easter holidays, the brood are back at school and the viewings pick up:DTo Dare is To Do:beer:0 -

I viewed tons of properties - even ones I knew weren't right - just to get an idea of the market.
Thomas Edison tried many many different ways to invent a light bulb - each time he failed he said "Ah ha, at least I have found another way NOT to make a lightbulb" (or words to that effect!)
I took the Thomas Edison approach to buying a house, and I suspect that a lot of other buyers (if they have any sense) will do the same thing.Errors of opinion may be tolerated where reason is left free to combat it. - Jefferson0
