I thought I read somewhere that it had to be the name name. I transferred 7k into out joint account today anyway0

I've just starting looking into different funds myself, although so far I have been investing in very low risk investments.
I've noticed that h-l.co.uk tend to give a high percentage of the initial commission back to the customer - Does anyone know of any companies that would also give a portion of the annual charge back ?? - or is h-l.co.uk the best place to purchase from ?
I've had a quick look at the Jupiter Fund of Investment Trusts, which seems to have been doing well over the years, as well as the Jupiter Environmental Income Fund.
Thanks in advance,
Daniel0 -

Thanks - I can see a 4.75% discount on some of the Jupiter investments - bringing the charge down to 0.5%, but I can't see any mention of discounts on the annual charge ?
Thanks

Hi,
don't think you will get a discount anywhere on the annual charge, what you get is a share of the renewal commission that the broker gets from the fund manager.0 -
I have now found the 'annual cashback' on their site - which is what I was meaning - sorry.
Thanks

cavendish online offer no upfront charges and refund 0.5% annually on most funds0

Jupiter funds are available to IFAs with no initial charge so I would expect a site marketing itself as a discount site to not be charging more than what a local IFA can offer.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Although its been a while since I checked it out, IIRC, even though Cavendish may rebate all their Initial Commission, on many funds you still pay more Initial Charge than with HL - as HL have the necessary clout to negotiate about the highest discounts with the fund houses.0
