Morning everyone,
EG Hope that your back gets better soon.
nmlc Well done on the decluttering, I am on a mission to tidy our house this summer and so far I am doing quite well.
Hester "Badger in reverse" made me giggle as I had a vision of badgers backing up the road.:D
Judi hugs for you.
Molly hope that you have decided to stay here with us.
Uolypool Welcome back!
More decluttering today and we have builders coming to sort the drive (at last).
Meeting a friend for a cup of tea later and maybe another friend for another cup of tea this pm, I love tea!
Made a chicken pie last night and it went down a treat, going to make a curry with the left over bits of chicken tonight, there was no left over pie!
Have a lovely day everyone.:)0 -
Morning all, sunny and warm at the moment here. Really lovely after yesterday's showers.
Off to work for this morning, should be home mid afternoon, after visit to library and quick shop on the way home.
I hate shopping and get in and out as fast as possible, the result is though that I end up having to go more often. Don;t do menu plans or a list so although I am frugal, I bet I could save some money if I was more organised. I live alone and my life for the last 3 months has been really chaotic and I have never known when I will be here and when elsewhere, got into bad habits. So I now know that I will be here tonight and Thursday and possibly Friday. After that I don't know. Lunch out on Thursday and might need a pack up Friday. I will plan around this.
going to risk putting the washing on the line while I am at work, but the rain may give it an extra rinse!
Tomatoes are turning red slowly in the recent warmth, but it looks as though some have rotted inside! They've gone a yukky brown instead of red! I didn't tie them to a frame as I thought they were a bush variety (gardener's delight) so they fell forward and I think that's what's nailed them. DAMN.
Have a good day all, good luck at the dentist Halight.'Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.' T S Eliot0 -

Good luck with the MOT!
welcome back Uolypool
sistercas - good luck with the healthy eating, I'm doing the same as I'd put about 3 or 4 pounds back on and want it off! too much snacking for me so I've given up chocolate, cake and biscuits for the time being. Its hard at first but gets easier.
Off to work later. Am in the process of having a good clean - need to tackle the cpbwebs though:eek: I'm not a sspider fan and there's a green creepy crawly on the bathroom ceiling thats been looking at me for a day or two!:eek: DH will have to sort him out - I can just about cope with small spiders using my spider catcher.
WM is on its second load. Sunny here atm.
DH is freezer surfing for his dinner as both DS and I will be at work.
Halight - its scary to think how we will all cope with more price rises in food!
Have a great day all xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Morning All
It is dry and we have a yellow ball in the sky so washing done and on the line.
Halight I have been warning of giant food price hikes for months, because of the crop failures and have been stocking up accordingly, that might help as a buffer when benefit changes come in next year. I have also decided to get rid of BT and BG and go elsewhere for a better deal.
I am really not looking forward to 2013, it will be a bad year for millions, but sadly not the shysters who got us into this mess, they are sitting pretty with their tax cuts and offshore accounts:mad: I can see riots worse than this year on the horizonBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Morning all,
Been raining all night, but sunny now, we got 1/2 of the floor laid yesterday, will do other 1/2 today, photos on FB.
Very cross with mums dog, she has peed and messed all over house, yesterday she did it on my beautiful planters chair, it was sopping and stunk , I managed to sponge it off, but its stained badly, will have to try and get some stain remover on it.
Not sure whats for dinner, I have some fish in the freezer or some pasta, will see.
Need to do an online shop later, but that will be it for me apart from DIY.
Have good days all xx0 -
Morning :hello:
Thanks for the comments about the labelsI think I'm not happy with them because they're not what I pictured. Maybe I'll get used to them
People are returning from their holidays so the eggs will start selling again. I've dated the eggboxes but will have to put them in order. Some are close to their date so I'll float test them and put them in the kitchen for us to use up.
I've put the washing out, put another load on, cleaned the chickens and sorted the kitchen. Should probably get dressed, lol.
I woke up in a funny position, I knew my hip was going to hurt before I even moved it. Just dosing myself up with painkillers (and ermmmmmm........ a chocolate muffin). I'll do some extra exercises today to stretch the muscle out.
