I've had some bad cuts but it does grow. Mine grows half an inch a month, so quite quickly.
I've found that people don't notice it as much as you think they do.
I reckon a refund is in order if you're that unhappy and you don't want them to try to put it right.
I wish mine did! Have already had a look to see what average hair growth is per month-1.25 cms or in the more mature 0.25 cms per month. It took me over a year to partially grow out all the shorter lengths, it is going to take me way past xmas to get it anywhere close to 'back to normal'

If only I had the body to go with the hair

I would send a letter to the manager recorded delivery. I would point out that not only did they make a mess of it - they knew they had an tried to cover it up knowing you'd discover it as soon as you washed and dried your hair yourself. So as well as making a mistake, which can happen to anyone, they didn't bother to admit it.
I'd be as livid about that as the mistakes in the first place.0 -
Very valid point GobbledyGook, more ammunition.0

I think the hairdresser would want to know, especially if they did a good job last time round. It can take some time to know what a client does and doesn't like. There is no way I can get my hair looking like my hairdresser does.
I think if I went back to my hairdressers there would be no argument. They would do their best to resolve things so that I was happier, and wouldn't make the same mistake again.
Why not just go in, explain what you're not happy about. If you're not satisfied with response then ask for a refund and use that to go elsewhere. if they do listen and you think they get it, give them a chance to put it right
Wishing you best of luck - most other things are an easy fix or hide, hair disasters not so much!0 -
I thought that hair grows at about the same rate for everyone. Certainly I have to dye my grey hair out every six weeks or so. I looked it up and there are some things you can do to encourage growth.
