There are still plenty of people alive and kicking who were on farms in the war .... should be some interesting comments from those people who don't like what they see on the telly as it wasn't like that on the farm they were living at.0

dh sent for the ou freebie, he also enjoyed the programme, which kept sparking memories of early 50s. We had lino and one of those kitchen units, in fact most people had them by then. They were very useful and would still be useful today. That gas rattle, lol they were still about when I was a child and were popular at football matches
That paraffin oven was such a good efficient idea and the cast iron pan. well I use one nowadays0
