Whilst the CCR is nice, it is inconsistent, both in terms of service and food offering. In terms of consistency, I would opt for Plane Food. In terms of value, I would opt for the CCR - after all, you've already paid for it!

With these things you should always set low expectations, then you can never be disappointed. It's just a room in an airport.

Food is ok, but not as good as you'd get in a decent restaurant. Booze is excellent, and I'd spend time at the CCR champagne bar trying what's on offer. Celeb spotting is ok too.

Plane Food is a restaurant, not a waiting room - that's the difference.

BTW I've never been in the Concorde lounge, just the Galleries lounge which we Club World plebs must endure
