Well I find myself all on my own in the office all afternoon yet again. This is good because I have a few non-work phone calls to make and it'll give me chance to do a bit of 'personal admin' without having to try and hide it :)

My Grze box was put back AGAIN to next Weds I noticed when I logged into my account  I emailed them saying I was very disappointed and wanted the porridge in time for the run on Sunday. I got a really lovely email back saying they'd send one ASAP but that would be for delivery on Monday, and as it's a bank hol I'll get it Tuesday - a whole day earlier than it was due anyway and too late for my race. Booo.

Also having issues with Betfrd - managed to find how to get my password changed, had three different ones emailed to me and still can't log in! They're holding my £30ish hostage! So will get on the phone to them this afternoon. Gah! I only have a flutter like once a year, but I know who I won't do it with next year!

Did they say why your grzebox was delayed? It's not very good service really.

Hope you make the most of your lonely afternoon ;)

Just that they were sorry for the confusion. Grr. I will - I'm going to make myself a cup of coffee and get cracking! Have you made any decisions on fabric (saw your tweet earlier)?

Yes I think so. It's on the sew scrumptious website. The deer fabric. Just need to check exactly how much I need then going to order it. DH and I have been invited to a silver wedding anniversary (We never go out) so the kids are having a sleepover at my mums and I want to make myself a nice new dress to wear.

Ooh, this one? I love it! There are some gorgeous fabrics around, it just really annoys me that most places sell them by the FQ so you have to quadruple the price to get the price per metre - not such a bargain suddenly!

Yep that's the one. It seems to be the norm now selling by FQ. It annoys me. I did tweet her and ask if it came in one continuous length as it would be so annoying ordering something like 2m and ending up with 8FQ!

Haha - yes it would! They all seem to send it uncut, it just seems like a cheap way of making their prices seem lower to me :o

It is sent in a continuous length so that's good. Yeah have to be honest I did go "wow those prices are REALLY good" then I remembered seeing a site that sold fabric in FQ and thought I'd best check before ordering! Lucky I did. Even DD's dresses use 3/4 - 1m of fabric as she likes big skirts.

This is why I like buying duvet covers from charity shops for £3 :D

Turns out I had £50ish in my btfrd account so that's ace :) Now to look at ISAs... Amazing how productive you can be when not trying to look busy with other stuff!

Oooh good news on the winnings Tete - take it you managed to get to it in the end? Nearly ordered a Graze box last night, a couple people of work get them and they always look so yummy!
