    Congratulations, Mumto5!

Hope you got some sleep, pigpen.

Enjoy your family day, Jazee - and well done to the dogs for keeping off the cream rug!

    >I came down this morning and just looked around at how tidy things looked compared to a few weeks ago and smiled.

Claire, this is a great feeling isn't it? - and one that all Flyladies long for.

Keep up the good work, everyone. (((Hugs))) to everyone who needs one. I'm going to bake later today and will happily share my cake with you all.

goodintentions - if DH's BD/stress is down to work they are obliged to do something to get it sorted out

His boss is normally pretty good. But he would need to actually tell them about it for them to do something! he is wfh this week, so out of their sight.

DS is here but needs waiting on hand and foot as he has got an insect bite on his leg on Tuesday, got a lump on his leg yesterday the size of computer mouse and today the whole of the lower leg and calf is swollen down to and including the ankle. Docs have given him antibiotics and antihistamine so hopefully it will settle down quickly.

My DD1 had this a month or so ago. It was horrendous! The ABs & cream worked, although the ABs did make her feel rough. I hope it improves soon - there are some nasty little critters out there!

Mrs C.. don't complain.. I am STILL waiting for af.. 17 days and counting.. :(

Did you say you were on Cerazette? (sp?) I am on that, and I haven't seen anything other than the occassional spotting since January :j I love it! :) DD1 stopped taking though, as it really mucked her up (made her heavy & more frequent).

Ok. Yesterday I cleaned the toilets, and the upstairs bathroom. I then had a little nap :o Took DD1 back to her flat last night. The traffic on the A12 can be horrendous and we left at 4.45, but luckily it was ok. And the torrentail rain had cleared so that was good. We all went & the car was loaded to the brim! Got a McDs on the way home for dins, so no washing up :)

Not sure what i am doing today. i may take the littlies to the park as it is nice. It is a bit chilly, so i may wait for it to warm up a bit (no doubt Miss T will have inappropriate clothes/shoes on - again )
I am off to check the list before she gets here. Hugs, sticks & spoons to those that need them x

    ETA Congratulations Mumto5 :)
Bossymoo I hope you have a fab holiday. Bon voyage!

Since my last post I have had a shower, put stuff away from the tumble dryer, hung washing up, changed my waxing appointment and booked a manicure. Now I am going to nip into work :( go shopping and ditch the carrier bag stash in their recycling. I am impressed with my efforts so far today.

    Hi All

Thanks for the lists this week Dusty, I have been doing minimal flying this week, just not had a chance to get on & post, hope you are all well. I am trying to get into the new routine since DS is now at school :(. This is the first weekend since we came back holidays that I will not be running around like a blue bummed fly! My ironing pile is like man mountain  I am planning spending the majority of the weekend getting the place back in proper order & do a few hours of ironing on Sunday. I have a large task ahead, but am determined, when the house is tidy it keeps BD away.

My drum on my washing machine is on its way out, have been told its cheaper to buy a new machine, rather than replace drum, the one I have just now is a hoover, only had it about 5 years, any suggestions as to a good but not to expensive machine ladies?

If its not there, its done, I have crossed of extras this week again! Oh and our wee kitten is mad!! So far she has pulled clothes of the airer, smashed a big vase, runs away with socks & knocks everything down that she can!

Monday - kitchen and dining room
    Level one

    mop floors
    Level Two
Run the large appliances through a clean cycle
    Level Three
    Clean out the fridge
    Wipe the hob and oven

Tuesday - Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 1

    Vacuum floors and sofas
    Level 2
    Dusting, even if around everything
    Level 3
Wipe light switches, sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!) and banister
Clean any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets

Wednesday - Master bedroom and Landing
    Level 1

    Vacuum the floors
    Level 2
Strip and wash bedding and remake bed.. do you need the duvet back on yet?
Clear the floordrobe!.. are there any summery things that are past their best that you can fling?
    Level 3
Dust and deweb.. don't forget the bedframe and light fitting!
Polish any glass bits.. table tops, lamps, mirrors etc
Declutter and wipe the bedside tables... or whatever area you use as a dumping ground!

    Thursday bathroom and study
    Level 1

    Clean sinks and toilets
    Level 2
    Hoover and mop the floors
    Level 3
    Wipe the tiles

Friday - Kids rooms, Spare rooms or another neglected room
    Level 1

    Declutter and vacuum the floor
Tidy away all the toys and clothes and games and books that are in the wrong places - get those responsible to help
    Level 2
Strip and wash bedding and replace with clean.. vacuum and turn mattresses if needed

    Morning all

Congratulations on the new job, Mumto5, and happy holidays to the bossy family.

House still a pigsty and I'm back at work on Monday, so much for sorting it out during the holidays

Same here, although there are definite signs of improvements. I don't know whether to spend another day out (DS2 still needs a coat and I need shoes and tops for work) or focus on the house. Would rather do the house, but have to be at hairdresser's tomorrow morning and there's a day of events at the local park, too.

Going to try to wake DS1 who survived his first full day at work, forage in the kitchen for some breakfast and think it through.

ETA Thanks, cy - must remember to collect my prescription and then get mine and DH's meds from the chemist.

Macpep - I just bought one from Boots appliances online

    advantage points AND quidco

It's a bosch -A rated and has a time delay -so I can run it to finish for when I get up! (I have E7)

If my review's been published you just MIGHT spot me on there - I'm not Valli though :rotfl:

I have emptied DW and put washing on line. My bed is stripped so washing now. I'm going to clean my friend's bathroom today -last one of the cleans I gave her for Christmas.

I might put a veggie chilli in the slow cooker first - thanks Cycling!

    Congrats on the job Mumto5

    Thanks Valli

Shall go have a look just now, my last machine also had time delay which lets me put a load on the line before going to work. I dont use E7, apparantly not beneficial to me :D

I hate it and I have been just the same on it since December. I had a revelation last night .. it could be down to the frequency of Dots feeds.. she is feeding more now than she did as a newborn!!

My kitchen is a disgrace so that is this afternoons job.
