 Sorry if this is going to come out as sexist Ladies
BUT why do you feel the need to rabbit on & on & on & on & on at the checkouts ?
We do not need to know how your varicous viens are doing ! or that your daughter has been made pregnant again ! or that granny has started wetting the bed etc ........ Do you not see the glazed look on the assistants face ? the line of people falling asleep ?
Just pack your shopping and pay and go !

Um I happen to agree with .. Not sure why people feel the need to ignore the queue and have a 10 min conversation with the cashier.,
But I don't think the tendency to do this and hold everyone up is limited to females .. I have seen plenty of men do it !
Therefore where possible I use the self serve check out, unless there is no queue at the manned desks.
I really like the stores where you can scan your stuff with a handheld scanner as you shop and pay via the card you have registered.
Avoids the whole queue thing and also the unloading and reloading g of your things into the trolley ..0 -
this is about another customer in front of you in the queue ?
obviously the sales assistant cant really say owt so maybe someone in the queue should have ?0 -
Dont forget the women who also wait until everything has been scanned, told the price, then start looking for their money off vouchers and their purse, credit card etc.:cool:0

Its worse if the cashier knows the customer.....i had two birthdays in the last queue i was in....0

Lets not forget the handbags that rival the TARDIS and contain literally everything, packed in such a way that the purse is literally the last thing to come out of it, and then it's opened to reveal the worlds largest amount of small change, which has to be counted out in a manner which even a four year old could count faster0

Women use to do that in the Cab all the time.
They knew exactly what the fair was going to be, they'd done that same journey from Asda to their home dozens of times, but they'd sit vacantly looking out of the window for 10/15mins, then say how much love, where did i put my purse. And start going through all their bags.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

Whats worse are the ones who chat to the assistant whilst their items are being scanned and make no effort to pack until the end, then they hand their card and type their pin then wait for the receipt and only then do they start packing.

I use to work for a large retailer so understand, however sometimes especially with elderly people, you may be the only person they talk to that day! Therefore some people need to learn to have some patience0
