Worth noting if you already have a job using up your personal allowance the tax on 30K net profit will be 20% plus 8% Class 4 NI leaving you with only £21600 in two years from eBay. If your job pays more than 19K an extra 15K net profit in a year will push part of your earnings from eBay into the 40% bracket.

yes its do-able.

If you are willing to work on low/high profit 50p upward.
If you put 100% effort in.
But it will be hard work.

Keep all overheads low. Packaging material eg jiffy envelopes can be purchase from 4p - 40p (thats 35p profit just on the envelope you are using)
i do not purchase single items with a profit of 50p. however i do like 1000+ pcs with a 50p profit.

Higher profit items are nice but hard to move on ebay sometimes.

As for the tax thats your call. There are many on ebay not paying it. However don't fancy getting caught and hit with a big tax bill.
