OH always out playing bridge, I need absorbing hobby of my own. Suggestions?

I am a bridge widow. My OH has always been a keen bridge player but for some time lacked a compatible partner. Now he has found one, a young schoolteacher who is currently free full time during the week as it the school vacation and her fiance lives on the south coast and travels up to see her on Friday nights.
My OH is over the moon at finding someone with whom he can
get good bridge results and who is available to practice in local games more or less full time during the week. Plus of course I suppose it is flattering to have an attractive young female bridge partner.
She is as obsessed with bridge as him so they are currently playing all day every day at various clubs in the neighbourhood. I am told this is to develop their system, so that they can enter more advanced games in future. The net result is that I scarcely see him.
At least I used to him at weekends but as their standard has improved so they have taken to playing in weekend matches away too, (it's OK her fiance and a friend go along too and also play but at a lower level - its all about the bridge).
The result is I am a bridge widow. Appealing to his better nature does not work as it seems time spent with me cannot equal the rush of getting a good score at bridge. (I assume bridge players and golfers all feel this way).
So I have decided if you can't join them, beat them. What I need is an equally absorbing and time consuming hobby that will get me out of the house so I won't notice his absence. I don't have any interest in cards and even if I did start, would not be able to play to his level for several years. I am not interested in golf and sport is out generally as I have a dodgy back.
Nor am I keen on volunteering to be honest, really I want to learn a new skill or be part of a larger joint project. Something which means I will have to be out of the house for one or more evenings a week for an extended period. I can't sing or play an instrument so a choir or amateur band is out but I did wonder about a back stage role in amateur theatricals. Anyone got any other suggestions?

Why don't you get a prospectus for your local colleges and formally learn a new skill or language? What hobbies and interests have you had in the past? You don't have to have one interest you might decide to fill your time with two or even more. Does your bad back stop you doing Pilates for example?Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

Just joining that could be a start.

If you aren't already a graduate, have you thought about studying for a degree with the OU?0

Learn a new craft like sewing, knitting, jewellery making, ceramics, pottery, painting, modelling anything really. It will soon take over and there are groups you can join and fairs to attend.0
