How frustrating ~ hope you had something good to read!

Dress split at the back  trip to somewhere (she says hopefully) at st pancras to find emergency sewing kit and stitch my fat a** back int the dress :rotfl:
How frustrating moment number 2! Hope emergency stitching was a) possible b) enduring enough to get you safely through your day and home again ~ far to draughty out there for daring peek-a-booty split type costume!

Hope you're having a gentler and less frustrating day today!

    This weeks trials and tribulations:

    MFW/Deposit Goodness :money:
Budget still firmly on track :D
Work overpaid my expenses by £300. I briefly debated being the honest soul that I normally am, but decided if they dont notice and ask for it back - finders keepers:A Does this make me a bad person? :o Also maybe this shouldn't be under the heading 'goodness' :rotfl:
8 x surveys completed, screened out of just as many tho!
£19 left in the shopping budget for this month. I have everything for planned/purchased for meals, only milk and a little fruit/ veg to buy possibly - so should meet my £200 target :T
      9/16 NSD's so far this month :j

    The Good :T
Work has slightly improved, not a lot but a little and I'm thankful for any improvement ATM :wall:
Relaxing, cheap weekend with DH & pooches :T
Collected my 'grow your own veg' book from the post office Sat - have started to read - not sure it's idiot proof enough for the likes of me :p, but going to give it a good go! Just need to work all the purchases into next months budget
enjoyed a lovely walk with DH & hounds today, it was beautiful- the sun was shining and it felt like spring is in the air :j:beer:
Collected BFF from her 1st midwives app on Wed, still a reasonably challenging situation all round - but slightly improved to what we thought and I'm terribly grateful for that at least.

    The Not so Good
Takeaway purchased Tue  DH had caught my cold/cough and wanted a strong curry to clear his sinus and I was coerced I to it :p
I pad speakers broke on way to big smoke - ergo no film and no book taken to read!! (Fixed at no cost tho after a bit of googling - but of course by the time I thought to do this I was only 10 mins from the station!)
Dress at back split on way to big smoke - no emergency sewing kit on my being to repair!! :-O (Fixed in toilets at work before anyone saw after £3 boots repair kit!!)
BFF became really upset after midwife app :( made me and other BFF really upset too  ..... Wish we could do more to help, but there isn't really. Just going to do all we call practically to help out and be there for her when she needs it.

    Blessings :A
it almost smelt like spring - the sun was shining gloriously today and i could almost smell it in the air

    Ramblings
My moaning about work lately seems pretty inconsequential after the challenges and worries of BFF recently. She has huge huge challenges ahead of her and whilst she has an amazingly supportive family and friends - it's going to be tough. She has the strength and mindset to get thro it I believe.
But makes me think twice when I'm feeling sorry for myself :o

Also been pretty stressy with DH lately (I think as a knock on effect with my stress from work) and feeling a bit rubbish about it :(
Going to put my thinking cap on to try and do something thoughtful and MSE :money: to show him I'm sorry.
