Scottish Power's 2014 fix was still available earlier today, so check the websites again now - I was only interested in the 2013 fix, and yesterday I could have got a cashback, but today it was nowhere to be found, except at Scottish Power themselves (with no cashback)
Interesting. The 2014 fix (31st Dec 2013) is at the same price as the Nov-13 fix for me, so an extra 2 months.0 -

As you say - 'interesting'! The 2014 fix (I didn't check the end date) was significantly dearer for me than the 2013 fix - maybe it depends upon consumption levels (my consumption is quite low, I am nobbut a grumpy old recluse)0 -
There is a news item on ScottishPower.com dated today, which announces the January 2014 fix, as a replacement for the November 2013 fix!

I just did a fresh 'quote' on ScottishPower.co.uk, and the 2014 fix is until November 2014 - the November 2013 fix is still available, but there is no mention of a January 2014 fix0

Jan fix starts tomorrow. Maybe that's why my quote is the same, the comparison sites are still using the old rates?0 -

Maybe I should cancel my Nov 2013 deal, and re-apply for the Jan 2014 deal?
Why would they make such a small (2-month) adjustment to their earlier offer?
How did you find out about the new Jan 2014 deal which hasn't yet started?0 -

The Jan 2014 is on the comparison sites.

So 5 weeks after allowing for the typical 2 week cooling off period
But it can still be as early as 4 weeks if the supplier acts promptly ...
Yeah, its just 21 days after the cooling off period or a maximum of 14 days to make the supplier start as soon as they can.:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0 -
14 days cooling off period before they tell your old supplier, 14 days laster transfer
Maximum of 14 days if no cooling off period, so less is possible. The 21 days kicks in after the end of this period. 14 days for a transfer would be pushing it as the objection window is working days, plus a few days if data transfer time plus any non working days since the 21 day rule does not state working days.:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0
