Thanks for that:)
If they won't go through the till could you try it at customer services? They will sometimes put coupons through. There are some till spit ones that the till won't accept even if the customer has bought the item. I always tell people to go to customer services and ask them to 'put it on as the till won't accept it even though you bought it'. Customer services do sometimes get fed up with that but if the voucher is for the product purchased then they have to give it to you.0 -
Well, I've talked up my first refusal. Never been to my local extra on a monday and now I know I wont go again. All the old, picky dragons where on the tills and quite a few supervisors about too, but again these where old supervisors I'd never seen before. Why they all want to work on a monday I don't know! Anyway got my £10 H&B stuff expecting to use, £2.50 SB, £2 old £2 new and 3 x 50 pointers, and also DM £3.50 and I bought a book, she took 1 x £2.50 SB and the 50 pointers and told me the DM had to be the book on the front, cos she called the supervisor over. Ended up having to pay £4odd on my H&B as I'd not bought all BOGOFs. Oh well my regulars will be back on Wed so will use loads again then. Not nice when you get turned down and I now feel for all of you that have.0

hi,
has anyone bought one of the internet phones from tesco and are they any good.their half price at the moment so could use the book voucher and a few 50p off wholefoods to get it for 2 quid.0 -
I'm sure you all get fed up with newbies asking for help, but...............
Can I return toiletries?
I've managed to get hold of a range of Tesco vouchers, and tried a H&B shop, I bought some food shopping with it, plus vitamins to use the 2 healthcare ones from the quit and get active pack. I bought 1 plax mouthwash, 2 cotton wool pads, 2 elvive and 2 vo5 (i think or some other bogof shampoo!)
I picked my SA with care, handed over the vouchers at the end, she said they all scanned, but once I got home (was 10 to 3 and I had to RUN to the car with my trolley to get to the school in time:rotfl: or would have done it there )and scrutinised the reciept, they definately didn't!
I had a £1 plax voucher which didn't come off, and neither did the £2.50 off £10 spend one, I only bought the plax to use the voucher and bump up my total to use the £2.50 one, so a bit annoyed!!
Should I return, (if I can) or just live with it, and make sure I do better next time?0 -
personally i wouldnt take toilettries back, they will always get used and some you win some you lose - maybe just take the receipt and duplicates of the vouchers in and tell them you handed them over and they havent been taken off. I think im just too soft as i dont want to draw attention to myself at the cs desk as you have to walk past it to get into the store, do what you feel comfortable with and if you want to take them back just go for it - they can only say no

Go back to the store with your receipt, go to customer services and ask to speak to a Front End manager. Explain what happened and they should be able to sort it out for you0 -

Anyway Ive packed his suitcase(coupons)...I'll burn his old clothes, but will send the 52 carrier bags with notes like "£70 paid £6" on them, and a transit van will arrive with the majority of his HandB successes.
I'll have moved if he comes back, dont need 5 bedrooms any longer for his stash............looking for a bungalow.Couponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.
