Did you purchase more than 2 H&B items?
Only one 50 points coupons is accepted for each item.
If you have the peach 50 points and the So beautiful 50 points, then one of each will be accepted on each £2 spend (max. one of each for each item), SA willing of course.

rejected all money off coupons
eg 2.50 cw
2.50 hb peach
2.50 so beautiful

anyone suggest why

does till operator have to press a button for it to accept coupons?
she was new
why did it then accept points coupons?

rockyrose, twiz21 has answered the question about points, only 1 50 point coupon per item.
Are you sure you spent £10.00 you didn't buy 2 hairspray at £4.99 each?

I know they can press a button to void a coupon which was on an unlucky shop the other day, so possibly do have to press a coupon acceptance button.

till did accept 3 x 50 pts-2 of so beautiful and 1 of peach ones

my question wasnt about the points its about till beeping about the money off coupons

did exactly same transaction yday and all went through

I have had this happen twice a while back but both times with the same till op (who I now avoid). I think if they only hit subtotal and not total then the coupons will not work but the points will. Can I ask if you was using a tesco credit card to pay?

rockyrose, then if that was in the same store it must have been down to till op.
I have 1 op, that's really good at scanning all my vouchers but sometimes miss scans & they don't come off bill. If I was legitamately using only 2 coupons then I would kick such a stink up, but as it is really happy for what I get off.

she was new and I do remember leadhead or someone posting a while back about a similar thing.

I got the items voided took the vouchers back and said id try another day-sa was very sweet so I didnt want to put her through anymore pain!!!!!!!bless

rockyrose, is it easy to get the till op to void items that are perhaps in the middle of your bill, or do they have to call CS to do it?
I have been too embaressed to ask before & wouldn't want to draw attention to myself.
Also is the Charles Worthington stuff really good? Better than Elvive Pantene.

Theres certainly a button........The other day I handed in my £10 "blue" first and it failed, he tried again, failed again....knowing i still had enough to cover my stuff, (and not wishing that he called a supervisor) i told him to forget it, and i would take it to CS....so he tried the £10 yellow and lo and behold that beeped as well.....he then said...."oh hang on a minute".....pressed a button(just a different way of adding coupons he said,) I didnt want to push him too much, he then rescanned my 2 x£10, and my others went through ok.

Can't answer why it should accept the points coupons

I've had this happen before, but really didnt take note....We used to have the odd SA and CS on the misprice discussion thread...I'll see if i can try and remember who they were and PM one of them

I had this happen the other day....for some reason a £6 didnt scan, and i lost it, but the next day someone got mixed up on which ones he'd scanned, so i clicked more back....

I agree with you there as well, I would definately have gone to CS to query why my legitimate vouchers hadnt scanned. While CS would more than likely not add your 3 coupons, you may have got away with 2.
