Thank You in advance
Hi
Baby products don't work with the current toiletries/beauty coupons/glitches! I know as I tried.I used to have a life............................... before MSE!!

just bought loreal revitalift eyecream, £11.99 (after discount), one £2 (exp 20/05) and one £1.25 (new quit) were rejected, because already used one £2 (exp 29/04) and one £1.25 (new quit); the till won't accept duplicate coupons? don't know, need to pay a few quid at the end but it is ok, need to sort out those wrinkles. and i often forgot to scan the 50 pointers because of nervousness and i tried my best to avoid using the CS desk just in case, really annoyed about that.
I dont understand why the till won't accept duplicates on your spend...was it actually the till that beeped, or was it the SA that refused them.
I cant see why the till should be set up different for this stuff.
Ive just had a till accept multiples..........3 of each £2 (20/05 and 29/04) 6 x £1.25 quit and 6x £1.......plus the £2.50 ones.
It can either be that the individual stores can adjust the coupon amount, or the SA actually rejected them....which is more likely.Couponing....."every little hurts"

But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

I'll second that - no probs with using both 2 pounds and 3 x 1 pound in one transaction_____________________________________________

Got caught out by Adidas deo on BOGOF. This is classed as Toilety only (apologies if this has been poseted) Neosi can you update this in the first post? Thank god for daily mail book tokens.
Had a few good days. I find it easier to handover loads of vouchers when there is noone behind me. yesterday I reduced my shop to 0.57p from just over 20 pound spend.
Today (after finding out bout the Adidas) i reduce the spend to just over 2 pound from 23 pound.
Used 2 x Dm 1 x 2.50, 1 x 2.50, 1 x 2, 1 x 2, 2 x 1.25 (QT toiletry), 3 x 1
No problems with DM book token or amount of vouchers used.
I think after the 30th April its gonna get boring - as most of the vouchers expire, Boo Hiss!!!!! Are we expecting some new ones??_____________________________________________

it was the machine that beeped, SA tried 3 times including the hand-held scanning device, still didn't work. strange, maybe i will try again tomorrow.0 -
I think that the reason your coupons did not scan was the number of items you actually purchased. Its happened to me twice now (both times I just bought 2 bottles of the Charles Worthington stuff - £10.98 before BOGOF) - used three coupons and that's it (it seems to let you use one coupon per product plus one!!! although that piece of info is a bit hit and miss).
In order to use more coupons, it's often worth buying a couple of cheap items (bars of soap for 24p or even the Alberto shampoo/hair gel which is BOGOF @ 98p). I do believe that this is the reason for vouchers not scanning.0 -
For anyone following my healthcare posts, this is what i bought today:
Germolene cream £1.26
paracetomal 24p
savlon blister plasters £3.28 (for all those new shoes with the clothing coups :rotfl: )
melalin type dressings 87p
micropore tape (to attach above) 98p
paracetomal plus 48p (get through a lot of these)
2 packets slimfast pretzels 2 x 49p
Total : £8.09
Used 1 x old quit, 1 x new quit, 1 x get active, 2 x £1 peach H & B = £8 off.Autism Mum Survival Kit: Duct tape, Polyfilla, WD40, Batteries (lots of),various chargers, vats of coffee, bacon & wine.0 -
um... not sure about that, for that one item £11.99, used 2 x 2.5, 1 x 2, 1 x 1.25. so used 4 coupons for 1 item.
when is the expiry date of old quit? is it worth to swap them? i never found any in my locals.
do lemsip and oral b replacement brusheads ever on sale? need some of these, they are healthcare, aren't they?0 -

I've always understood that the Oral B replacement brusheads were toiletries.
Anyone else?
Not bogof or reduced at the moment, just normal price.
It may be worth waiting till the 25th when new deals are available instore, to see if the Oral B are reduced.0
