I still have some £1.25 quit it beauty and toiletry vouchers
    i have £2.50, & £1 peachy vouchers
I havel £2 off and £8 spend off toiletries or beauty.

I am looking for the best combination as i want to get some more stuff to give to charity. I've got tons of bubble bath, shower gel, shampoo, toothpaste etc. Would love to get handwash and especially toothbrushes - can anyone suggest the best combination please?

It all depends on how much you are comfortable with.

I usually do a £24/25 before bogof spend....with the coupons you have, you can use 2 x£2.50, 3x£2 5x £1.25 (if you pick something that falls into both B and T, you could use 5 of each before the till beeps) and upto 6 x£1....making £23.25(£29.50) off your £12.50......one/two of the £1.25 and/or 1 of the £1 may not scan......if you dont need to get money off your other shopping, either give less coupons or buy more bogof.

Again...it all depends on what you are comfortable with and of course a willing SA.
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

I learned the hard way in my early ebay days, now everything with any value goes/comes recorded delivery

Few other groceries, plus pack of 78p toddler toilet wipes (in great demand in my house)

So , apart from my chicken (tea) ham (pack-ups) & a new pillow.......i paid 47p for the 78p toilet wipes.

    I'll go there again...:o

At last a few ideas to spend the healthcare coupons on. That give me an idea. Does Mr T sell first Aid kits

Must be catching - I had my first knock back today on a H&B shop - got £16ish worth of goods, had my coupons already sorted and picked what I thought was a good male cashier. Got to the front and asked him if I could use my tesco coupons (which I held up the pile). He hesitated, but then said ok. However, once he'd scanned about 3, he then said he had to check with a supervisor, as he'd "been told off" for taking too many coupons.

I ended up getting them to cancel the items and just took the coupons back. In retrospect, I probably should have just said to the lad take what you're comfortable with when he hesitated. It's probably a good idea to have in your mind what you would do in that situation as well, so you can be on the front foot when it does happen to you rather than be defensive and embarassed!

I just picked the wrong guy. I'd gone to one till with another male cashier and then changed my mind as this one "looked" a better bet. Some you win, some you lose.

I never hand over a big wad. I give two at a time to test the water and keep handing em over till they say stop or the till stops me. Starting with highest/Expiry date.
I find the daily mail book voucher confuses the SA!

  • Theyre in the healthcare section of the website, so healthcare vouchers should scan fine
Reclaiming for family and friends. Won 4/13 so far
    HSBC CC - £263.25, Halifax CC - £179.45, HFC PPI - £589.00, HSBC PPI - £498.86, Lloyds PPI 1 - £400
  • Just a quick question please?

If I buy 2 Charles Worthingtons @ £7 for 2, will the till think I spent £10.98 (original price)?
