Ive found Leadheads posts to be very helpful too and these Tesco threads have had my brain doing some activity for the first time in ages as works so boring and mind numbing. I look forward to reading everyone posts on how theyve done etc i must get out more lol.

Yeah I think thats a good idea. Ive been paranoid about getting stopped haha.. So what Ive decided Is to act like a total numpty and say 'Ohhh? I cant? Oh.. hmm in that case I dont want the toletries/clothes, Sorry' ....
at which point I will fish them back out of my bags.
Asking for my vouchers back and saying 'Ohhhh.. well I will take them back and read them more carefully before I use them again, sorry about that.. etc etc'

Edited to add.. Yesterday while eyeballing the carpark on the way back to the car I found a receipt.. and at the bottom it said coupon coupon coupon coupon coupon etc.. hahaha..

I've had this problem too. I bought Nivea suncream bogof at £10.98 over the weekend and handed over 5 and only two would go through even though supposedly 10 should have been allowed. I bought some more today and handed over 4 and again only two would work.
