Patty id imagine bodyform would be classed as toiletries and cosmetic bags to be beauty though if im not sure i put one of each and if they both go through double whammy lol.Ive thought of the £15 nail set and £29.99 beauty make up set would make ideal presents for someone to put up 4 xmas and with the vouchers you could get them for peanuts0

i developed some theories, tell me if i m wrong.
1. Discreet  : use the possible minimum number of vouchers (just enough to cover the cost) in a single transaction will increase the chance of getting through without being rejected.
2. Don't be greedy: making profit by excessive use of vouchers in one go will substantially increase the risk of being questioned/ rejected. (hate to see supervisor walking towards me and being interrogated in public. )
3. Disguise  : the more u pay for the final sum; the more likely u will get through, pay at least about a fiver/tenner or more for each transaction (include some food/milk/daily items) will not draw any unnecessary attention.
4. i have not figured out how to do the pointers in a disgreet way...
I tend to shop around the 10 - 15 mark. I normally purchase 5 pounds of BOGOF H&B. I then make up the 5 - 10 pounds worths with Kitchen stuff. (Im currently purchasing the 'Sailors' range of plates/mugs. So first of all I believe in small shops, so if i am refused im not out of pocket.
Secondly I look for a half-wit normally a young weekender, student type or a disalusioned trolley boy. I normally start with the 250 or 1.25 (vouchers that expire earliest). I then have a chat, normally the SA's that tell u they are bored to death, will take as many as you have.
I try to aim to reduce my total spend for the 1 - 2 pound mark. Playing the game today and yesterday i got it down to 0.53p pence on a 17 quid spend. If they tell me they dont know what the limit to the amount they can accept, i just carry on.
My second shop today was not as successful as i got a 19 pound spend to just under 6 pound. It wasn't till i saw the Tesco wastecoat on her chair, I realised that she was a supervisor, who looked like a half-wit!!!!
Even so a good saving.
Remember the golden rule:-

DH wasn't happy with me as it came to around £25-£30 to pay, if I take some items back will they realise the coupons at the bottom are for H&B things?
Supervisor said if product is on offer (I.E BOGOF) then NO coupons will be accepted towards them soon as people are taking the !!!! (her words!)
Your toiletries would have only come to £11.12, so £5.00 off that is £6.12 so really not that bad. Leadheads post is spot on always full of good advice (Reminds me to thank him), test the water, test the cashiers, only buy stuff that you would really be happy paying SEL price for incase refused, go at busy times, if you have several failures try a different store.
If you do decide to take the stuff back say the coupons were clubcard vouchers, I personally wouldn't bother, funny items to take back & be happy you still have vouchers to use again.

I'm still fairly new at this.. So far Ive done the voucher thing about 10-12 times.. so far so good. I havent been refused any.. yet  .. and sometimes ive handed over lots..
I try to do £20 £30 or £40.. (sometimes just a £10) .. I work out what I need first, usually checking the prices and offers at Mr T's online first so I can write a little list and the prices before I go, because my maths is rubbish, and I dont want to draw attention to myself standing there trying to count on my fingers :rotfl:
I find it easier to just to be able to pick the item straight up and fling it in the trolley. Then depending on how big the spend was, and how much *real* shopping I need, I pop in something expensive to bulk the price up abit.. dishwasher tabs is a fave for me at the mo. Fairy were 50% extra free so I did that for quite a few times. (and i have sooooo much toilet roll!) Did I mention a bottle of Amarula? :rotfl:
I find someone looking bored/studenty or clocking watching, shuffle up the vouchers I know Im going to use. Then I start talking.. (and talking and talking, can you tell??).. so that they dont look too closely at WHAT they are scanning.
Then i just say.. ' Oh.. I have some vouchers, I havent had time to sort them out yet.. Could you just see which ones will scan?' They say .. yup.. (so far).. and I keep yapping and yapping.
SOMETIMES I can see them getting abit confused but they seem far to polite to tell me to 'SHUT UP and let me concentrate a moment please!' :rotfl: Then (so far!).. They've said.. 'Oh the tills accepted them all (even tho a few times some of them have seemed a little suprised haha) and I say.. ' Oh wow did they?...great thanks'. then I scarper.
So far Ive only used my clubcard for the small spends, (the £10 ones and maybe a few 50 pointers) I'm scared of losing the points ive already got!
The other day after reading here about spreading points between cards, I used a different keyfob for the points.. (on a big spend) then Like and idiot I handed over my clubcard plus card to pay.. haha
Ermm that was abit long, sorry.. Hope it helps someone though.

Sounds a good system to me............although be prepared for your first knockback, as the try after that is the hardestCouponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.
