*NEW* Tesco H&B Vouchers - *See First Post for UPDATES*

Earlier on in the thread a kind poster mentioned that there was a 60p moc off Radox Daily Elements anti-perspirant deodrant on some bottles of Radox Daily Elements shower cream. I duly got two bottles the last time I was in Tescos (in amongst my other H&B items). I've now got the voucher out to use when I do my Tesco shop later on today and have noticed that the voucher doesn't start with 99 - It starts 5 000231...
Does this mean it will only scan off the actual product mentioned on the voucher?
Would anyone know, off the top of their head, if Radox Daily Elements apd is on offer at the moment?
TIA for any replies.

Hi Kaja86 (my local shopping buddy)
I can't help you with the healthcare vouchers but with the H&B vouchers - how about some Aquafresh toothpaste, Original source shower cream (I think) or look out for the Radox shower - as per my message above; Johnsons tanning lotion, Adidas anti-perspirant. Also, I think the Nivea facial wipes are on offer in the store you are going to. (These are not shown as on offer in my local store so could someone confirm they are bogof everywhere and so will go through, as they are one of the things I was thinking of getting when I go.) The Colgate Professional Weekly Clean is supposed to be good (although not on bogof.) and I've bought that in the past.

been couponing far to long now!! becomes an addiction really
I had a little contretempt with the SA yesterday... targetted a young lad ... when he saw all the vouchers decided to call the supervisor... which in turn stoped most of them. Not a big deal... i'll return a few things today. I don't like to be singled out!0 -
i developed some theories, tell me if i m wrong.
1. Discreet  : use the possible minimum number of vouchers (just enough to cover the cost) in a single transaction will increase the chance of getting through without being rejected.
2. Don't be greedy: making profit by excessive use of vouchers in one go will substantially increase the risk of being questioned/ rejected. (hate to see supervisor walking towards me and being interrogated in public. )
3. Disguise  : the more u pay for the final sum; the more likely u will get through, pay at least about a fiver/tenner or more for each transaction (include some food/milk/daily items) will not draw any unnecessary attention.
4. i have not figured out how to do the pointers in a disgreet way...
I think if you have an SA who is not overly happy at scanning then you strategories maybe correct. I have found recently if I hand over lots (ie include regular MOC) they are more likely to riffle threw them than if I stick to a few high value (you need lots of 20p one to get to £2.50;) )
I also have found that it is not really the cost of the shopping but the number of items. ie lots of tins of beans, cereal bubble bath etc may cost the same as 2 charles worthingtons and a bottle of wine but they are happier with the coupons on the bigger shop.
Then again as always depends on the SA.
My new plan for today is to have my few best coupons to hand and if they get accepted happily 'find' some more when I go to pay:DThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
I have some of the new get fit vouchers and clothes vouchers for swaps.... pm me.0

Well where do I start : I went to 2 Tescos and 1 Ikea today.
First tescos (2 transactions)
Addidas deodrant x 6 @ £2.28 on bogof = £13.68 (£6.84 on bogof)
Centrum vitamins @ £2.39 x 4 = £9.56 (£4.78 on bogof)
*I used a till spill for 50 points for chilled sponges - they are on bogof @ £1.09 so got 2 sponges and the 50 points). Some essentials.
Total £30.11 - bogofs came off as above - £16.88 to pay, I handed over:
1 x £2.50 red h&b, 1 x £2.00 toiletry, one DM voucher, 2 x healthcare old and new quit, 2 x £1.00 red healthcare = TOTAL to pay £2.88 and I gained 500 points !
2nd transaction:
Multivitamins @ £2.28 on bogof x 4 - elvive shampoo @ £2.98 on bogof plus a few essentials = £25.14 after bogofs (-£11.52) = £13.62. After vouchers balance to pay £3.12 gaining 400 points.
vouchers used: 1 x £2.50 h&b, 1 x £2. toiletry, 2 x £2.00 healthcare old and new, 2 x £1.00 h&b healthcare
3rd transaction: tesco vitamins @ bogof £3.90, elvive shampoo x 4 @ £2.98 on bogof - a few essentials again to pad it out, total £27.21 after bogofs total £15.71 after:
using 2 x £2 healthcare, 2 x £1.00 healthcare, 1 x £2.50 h&b and a £3.50 book token. = £3.71 balance to pay and I gained 450 points
(100 points was gained by buying always ultra @ £1.57 and using a till spill)
So to recap and in summary, total shopping bills = £82.46 and I paid
£9.71 in all and gained 1350 points worth £54.00 when converted into deals.
As for Ikea that was Brill, we had a cooked breakfast each for 95p plus free top drinks for the kiddies and free tea or coffee for me.
I love this moneysaving lark - btw I know I could have used more vouchers today than those but I was going for the minimum amount of vouchers for a relatively low spend.
I also found a till spill for 100 points during my travels

If you want to buy something different with the healthcare you can get rosemary conley or alto bars (both on bogof at present). Alto bars aren't to bad but not tried the RC ones yet. Make it up to the £8 spend with some pretzels or a small tub of vitamins or painkillers0 -
We have bought the Rosemary conley bars at bogof at £3.99 - which is rather steep for the product but OK using vouchers. I buy a small bar of slimfast choccie at around 48p to make up the total
