    1. NO ...technically lol But seller/bank can
    2. none, only by the person that owned it before repo. The bank have a duty to get highest legit clean offer. And prove in a court of law if need be.

understood.but if they get substantially higher genuine offer...
and take lesser one.....is there no recourse???seems weird,as owner will be left with ?000s more debt.no supervision/no oversight of banks....no one to contact....

you can either get a solicitor to do the conveyanceing or you can walk out of the deal. the bank is within rights to decline or accept any offer. they don't have a "duty" to get the best offer or whatever way some wannabe solicitor wants to try and frame it. don't like it? sue them, it's your £'000s being spent not mine!

the op guy guy here reminds me of this guy who claimed this island called forvik that made the papers some years ago, 2008 i believe it was: by claiming the island as his own crown dependency he thought he was right and the rest of the world was wrong. which may be a fair frame of mind to be in but when you can't look and analyse the facts in a cold clinical manner to reach a logical conclusion, then you're on to a loser.. cute little guy he was. harmless but cute in a dithering way.

footnote: like i said earlier folks, tis the season on these boards for SummerKids (tm) - for the uninitiated these are individuals who like to just sit in moms basement and troll internet forums. They are just like me and you and him and her :) Now, have a nice day y'all :)
