Anyone on here diagnosed with sleep apnea and using a CPAP machine?
How are you finding it?
I am having massive problems with mine (leaks air, swallen face, massive ridges on the face in the morning etc etc) - had an appointment with technicians and a doctor last week but despite their best efforts - not much has changed.
I am at my witts ends to be honest....
Just looking for other CPAP [STRIKE]suferers[/STRIKE] users?
Has anyone used those with their mask?

Thinking of ordering but.. it is £20 per month

I haven't used them, and I'm not sure how they'd help. I gave up using cpap as it was more disruptive to my sleep than the apnoea. Obviously, I'm not suggesting that for anyone else0

Thanks for replying.
I too find it very difficult to adjust to.
I am on my second machine in about a year now, first one was very badly set on 4 for me, an overnight sleep study somewhere else established I need 18.4 setting (bit of a difference between 4 and 18.4).
Still - tired all the time, sleepy all the time and generaly fed up with it all0 -
Have you tried different masks? The major problem for me was that I sleep on my side which always dislodged the mask.0

I sleep on my side too and I am on my third mask (tried more at the centre but ended up with 3 "best fit" at home) and every single one of them is fine when I put it on but after few hours each and every one starts leaking air in several places around face/eyes and it is a nightmare...0

There are pillows available in the US designed for side sleeping cpap wearers. why not discuss them with your consultant? NB I only saw them after giving up cpap,so haven't tried then, nor can I comment on their efficacy. There are some specialist CPAP forums which may prove helpful.0

Pullows would not help - I am very interestedin those liners...0
