I've just read this thread.

Firstly, sorry for what you and your wife are going through, it's a horrible disease and I wish you well in this difficult journey but cherish everything!

Secondly, I'm so glad that Capital have finally decided to give you the £500 (and well done on the £750 win too)

Although I understand the terms and conditions, I think if they were first able to offer you a different prize then the request for just the spending money isn't a cheeky thing to ask and should have been allowed by Capital the first time you asked.

Buy a camera and a photo album Put some pictures in there for your wife to look at everyday x Good memories for you both
