Really sorry to hear this, you deserve a nice treat, I know how hard life is when caring for someone with your wife's illness. It wouldn't hurt them to at least offer the spending money. I sincerely hope that something really nice comes your way very soon.

Thanks Barnabysue your wishes have come true see

Only just seen this thread Amilucky, I am so pleased that Capital have worked something out for you and great news about the other mag win you really do deserve a treat.
I really hope you get some better news about Alice so that she can return home soon. My sister is looking after her husband with alzheimers, he has lost his mobility and continence too but as hard as it is she wants him at home.

Your sister is an angel, home is the best place for people with late stage alzheimers the hospitals and nursing homes may be able to give them 24/7 medical care but what they actually need in my opinion is 24/7 tender loving care and this can only be given by there loved ones and immediate family

sending my hugs and kisses to your sister and her husband and I hope and I pray that he can remain at home and that they can stay together for as long as possible

by the way Alice is set to be discharged this Wednesday :j:j:j
  • Well done for getting the cheque, and welcome home to Alice on Wednesday.
