Once again, I would like to say a huge thank-you to the contributors of this thread - I refer to many of you as Tesco Kings & Queens.
Anyway, recently I had a few knockbacks with the H&B vouchers/coupons (sorry Leadhead what is the right word?) & the DM not scanning and started doubting whether I had the nerve to bother as I felt embarrassed when the coupons wouldn't work. As my shopping buddy (thanks Kaja86) had sent me some yellows I decided to give Tesco clothes shopping a go before the GA clothing vouchers expired. I can't believe I got my full £68 of clothes FREE!!! I was shaking as I walked out of the store and couldn't stop looking at the receipt when I got in the car.
This time luck was definitely on my side and it was fluke that the total money off (including DM voucher and a couple of 50p vouchers) actually added up to the amount of my clothes spend as, by the time I had messed around trying lots of things on, we were really pressed for time and I just very quickly pulled the vouchers out of my bag, pulled out an assortment, mixed them all up and put the £10 one on top. My DH wanted me to pay for the clothes at the clothing counter and couldn't understand why I wouldn't! Anyway at the main checkout I got a lovely young lad who, when he saw I had some clothes even offered me one of the new clothing vouchers. My bill went from £76.51 down to £8.51 (which was the full amount of my non-clothes items). I know this is still a lot for some of you but for me I can't tell you how giddy I felt.
So, once again, many, many thanks for sharing your experiences and, in some way, helping me to have the nerve to give it a go.
Kind regards

and that mardrew is what its all about :T :T Its such a giddy feeling when it works - i got £130+ of clothes today for £35 (only because she wouldnt accept duplicates of the vouchers otherwise it would have been less) :T LOL she wasnt going to take the vouchers AT ALL but as i know the store policy of at least one of each voucher i asked her to call the supervisor over (shock!!) and got her to ok one of each vouchers and told the lady i didnt want to get her into trouble so at least if the supervisor sanctioned it then its ok on all counts!
