Hope you took the Polo shirts back vellum...washed or not, this is classed as "not fit for purpose"., and should be returnable without question......being an experienced MSE'r, I presume youve still got the receipt.

yes, i keep all receipts, however, it shows coupon coupon coupon coupon coupon .... at the bottom ... :rotfl: :rotfl: , don't want to risk as stores often have senior staffs manned the cs desk. so i think i will push my luck a bit by returning them without the receipt, they still have the F+F logo inside and are in style of the season. if accept, my lucky day; if not, nevermind, they may probably be free anyway, i can still use the fabric to make 2 cushion covers, nothing will go to waste. :D

did 2 clothes + food shops today, 1 miss 1 hit.

1st shop, sa only accepted 50% and handed back 2 x £6 ones including the active that is expiring today, but scanned the ski ones. no problem, paid up and thanked him politely. hope he will forget about me the next minute. hehehe

went home and tried on the clothes, some items are too big/long, so have to return them anyway. hope i can get back some cash. still a happy shop because husband managed to find a suit with matching top and trousers that he liked and both are his size, he has been looking for a new suit (he only has one in the wardrobe and they looked really old) since we first discovered this thread, this is the first time he managed to find them. luckily, we checked all clothes in ss machine and the suit/ trousers are reduced without clearly labelled, so have to grab more stuffs. wow the whole suit costs only £13.50 before coupons, machine washable too, brilliant.

    2nd shop

all coupons went thro, plus all the DMs and a few the sun ones.
bought the red dress that welshy and i liked but black version, husband loves it, also the blue flare top on front of the new 10.7.5. coupons. very very happy today.

    thanks leadhead.

I needed new fluffy towels for my new bathroom (courtesy of Mr T )

the fluffly towels are not classified as clothes, aren't they? so cannot use clothes coupon. i was looking for a new bathrobe today, but the only one t has was a fluffly 100% polyester one, not 100% cotton, it is fluffy and soft enough but won't absorb water that well. so give up, i can still hold onto my 2 old ones (one is over 10 year old  )

also forgot to buy some cat food today due to rushing, i forgot and left the tesco 50p off cat food coupon at home.

I was going to comment yesterday when u posted, but didnt think you needed comment on your "red" carpet treatment.

Sounds a clear case for an insurance claim to me....
