I'm sitting here telling myself how stupid I am. I got the best ever scan happy lad, obviuosly would take anything. I had 2 loads of shopping in my small trolley (Can't push those big ones )
1st transaction £10.00 h&b £60.00 kids clothing, couldn't understand why coupons were being handed back & the total had only come to £69.00 with loads of other shopping. That bill £69.99 down to £24.79 should have been pennies.
2nd transaction straght after, £10.00 h&b £70.00 womens. £7.00 off £35.00 adults given back 1 went through. My shirt dress hadn't been scanned taking the total less than £70.00. £115.12 down to £40.62. Should have been less.
After studying my receipts I noticed I only went & put 3 of my daughters items in with the adult shop. We wear very similar clothes but can't believe I've got it so wrong today.
I do like to hear other members failures although always dissapointed for you. As sometimes I feel alone, but then encouraged to carry on like you all do.
Thanks for the mention Leadhead, but if anyone had been with me today it would have put them right off. You, Welshy & everyones posts are so useful & taken me to different heights. Just wish I could have achieved it today.

everyone remember ALL the active vouchers run out tomorrow.
whole foods, yoghurts , clothing etc0 -
Sorry to hear that Kronen! Those are the kinds of things that happen to me! Or I put an item on that has been reduced without me realising! So tomorrow I'm going to use a tip someone posted on here, which is to send the clothing through first and keep an eye on the total to ensure you've spent the correct amount.
Best of luck for next time."I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0 -
Did my first ever clothing shop today!! I was quite confident thanks to all the H&B coupons i have used!!
Spent 63 quid on clothing, bill total was 70 quid, Total to pay was 1.81 yeahhh!!!
But i dont like one item can i take it back without receipt??
I used 21 coupons..so if i rip the bottom off and place a tea bag on the top half it might look like I threw the receipt away!!!!!_____________________________________________

did 2 shops today, first one failed as no ideal sa around, the one there called supervisor as soon as finished scanning, i only bought food as didn't dare to do large clothes shop, anyway, supervisor only came to sort something out, not my coupons, so handed in a few ski and DM coupons he scanned them all. went to another store, a bit brave this time, did a £70+ clothes and some food, all vouchers went through.
very happy as there are new clothes for husband and myself, also many finest yoghurt, love the black cherry one.
also saw the red dress that welshy liked but black version, looked pretty but without my size, nevermind. quite fancy the blue flare top showed on front of the new 10.7.5 clothes coupons, may get it 2morow if i am lucky.
need a bit more luck, will try again tomorrow.
thanks leadhead0 -

(As today when I did 2 hits but one after the other one). If I used one lot of vouchers and they go through I think they will wonder why I am returning to the store to do more shopping.
Yes I am now officially paranoid ! LOL

Haha Welshy. I had similar thoughts today about being watched and getting into trouble after my first run but couldn't resist having another go at getting clothes for free. So after first shop, back in the car to prepare pile of coupons for second shop, took off my wet jacket, then the rain stopped, hurray, went for second shop looking a bit different without my jacket. I think. Paranoid? Who said that?

I know I had 25 ski yoghurts coupons on me today, 10 were accepted so 15 to go ! I am sorely tempted to try another clothing shop before the greens run out - but then again maybe a day off from tescos would be rather nice too.
Welshy xI am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL

I bought £90 of clothes today( £25 kids, £65 mixed adults) ,total bill was £120. With all my coupons the bill was reduced to 2p!
The young female SA said "Thats amazing" I had miscalculated and she couldnt use 1 £4 coupon, but I was very pleased with that shop.0 -

I'd bought 6 Finest yoghurts. Misery guts (young and male - what's wrong with him?!) would only scan one of my Ski yoghurts!!!
I've had two disastrous big shops these last couple of weeks. He pulled his face at most of my vouchers and called the supervisor over for the book voucher and a Gardeners World coupon. The couple behind were starting to moan so I just asked for them back and gave them some less controversial (and smaller value) coupons.
The only thought keeping me going was that I managed to pick up two sets of the latest clothing vouchers (expire 20 May). Didn't do any clothing shopping today (luckily as that miserable young lad wouldn't scan his own mum's winning lottery ticket!)
Am considering making a special trip tomorrow so that I can use the Get Active clothing voucher as well. The only problem is I've found the staff more fussy at the weekends (contrary to everybody else's experiences). The last clothes shop I did the old dear refused all but one clothing voucher in the same transaction!
I think I might cut my losses with the Get Active and do a children's clothing shop with the latest vouchers and a Blue set. I only need kid's stuff really.0
