Thanks for this, but I learnt my trade from reading these threads, from people like Welshy, coupon-mad, kronen, sarah-skint, and others, and i dont have to share my time with 3 or 4 kids and a job(or 2) as some of these ladies do...
So although i maybe the "loudest" and possibly have the most time on my hands, Iv'e learnt everything from posters on here, and I'm still learning all the time........learnt a load Thursday night........while chasing cars....(round T car parks)Couponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

Thanks leadhead for the mention. I don't always have much time to post on here so glad you are around too to help the new voucher trainees. (I have 4 lovely children, a job as a Supervisor in a large insurance company as well as being a mystery shopper and with the builders working on the house time is at a premium).
Anyway, here is today's experience, it started off bad with Bob the pyscho cat trying to jump through my bedroom window at 5am, which then woke up Diesel the grey kitty who at the moment appears to be the Barry White of cats - he is definitely trying to share his love around LOL.
The builders arrived to do the cement floor, but then said they didn't want to do it today so will return on Monday. Despite feeling rough I thought I would go to tescos so I sorted my vouchers into piles and off I went tescoing. Now it takes a good 45 minutes to get there but usually the benefits/cost savings make it worthwhile.
I walked in and was handed a bundle of the new clothing vouchers by the assistant. Now I was going to do 2 x £30 shops with vouchers covering it all - therefore no spend. But then I had the £7 and £10 ones so decided to do a £50 spend meaning only £3 to pay on each.
I did my normally family shop too but seperated one lot of clothing £50, healthcare and toiletries. I looked for my regulars couldn't see any so went to a young chap. He happily chatted away, then I said could I use my vouchers, initially he happily scanned away including 10 of the 50p ski vouchers but when it came to the clothing, stated he could only use 1 - but then relented and said well as long as they don't look the same ............. until the next clothing one came up on my pile. Anyway, he rejected a few but I did save £45 off my bill - although not as much as expected.
Second transaction - I thought well he will scan the majority of them as per before - no he did not - he scanned one clothing voucher, muttered about getting into trouble and said he would give me extra clubcard points for my bags ! I said could I use the green active one as it was expiring and he said why don't I try it tomorrow.
So realising that only one voucher was accepted on my clothing £50 spend I went to CS (big mistake) and purely queried as to whether I could have used another one. She then called over her clothing colleague who said a £6 voucher had been used I said it was a clubcard one and she offered to physically get the clubcard voucher back and then reimburse me for a clothing one so I told her that I was in a rush and made my excuses.
Got home to a mad OH who had to take DS to a birthday party because I was late back from tescos. I dropped off the shopping, got DD3 ready, went to the local church fete and took her to gymnastics all before Mr Welshy had unpacked the shopping which incidently we have no room for as the builders have demolished all my cupboards !
Sorry for the moan guys but you can see even the more seasoned voucher users have their bad days too.
I had not budgeted for the clothing spend but don't think I will take them back, I am due a profit share from my company of £1,000 at the end of this month so I think today's clothes will come out of that. As for using clothing vouchers in future, I am sorely tempted just to stick them on PTS and swap for points vouchers.
