well done welshy tillspit day monday
  • I bought clothes totalling £63 today (with other groceries too) and handed over a wedge of New Quit/New & Old Yellows/Blues/Get Active vouchers hoping for the clothes to be free. The carefully selected cashier only bloomin spread my vouchers out on the belt, had a word with the cashier behind him and then selected only 2. I tried to protest but he was having none of it :(

I'm going to return some of the stuff tomorrow, hopefully and have another go. Wish me luck!

does anyone know what the northeast stores are like for taking vouchers and if they have any of the yellow ones left around - ie gateshead, newton aycliffe etc as im on a mission tomorrow to try some new ones as i am too paranoid in my local one now! :rotfl:

have sent you a pm :)

Overall Ive found the stores vary, pretty much as to who's on the tills. Their "policy" when asked at CS is up to 50% off the total spend, although the intepretation seems to vary.

A few days ago, Kingston Park extra had a few of the yellow MOC's lying around at the clothing counter next to the fitting rooms; Dragonville had one or two at the CS desk and both CS desks had the green active packs on display. NO new quit ones to be seen anywhere yet on my travels though :( Gateshead had some pink H&B out for a while as you go in the door near the pharmacy

The voucher fairy had also been along the make up aisle of the Kingston Park store but I was being watched, so could only pick up a few.

Will see what there is tomorrow if anyone is desperate for some, but they run out soon!

Well done you thats a brilliant shop :D Im really going to miss the h&B vouchers when they finish. Not seen any of the so beautiful book though.

Ive got my vouchers in piles ready for a £24 before bogof piles - now that is sad.

Ive also got boxes & boxes of the rosemary conelly bars. OH & eldest love them so they are having tham in their pack ups

Where do you find the rosemary conley bars - I recall they were mentioned before - but I cannot find them. Are they with biscuits or healthcare.

    thanks

Unfortunately not mate..not unless you look in my computer drawer.........

£37.50's worth on one sheet........a never to be repeated haul i suspect

I managed only 200 of their mags.....they wern't so easily available as the Asda mags with the badly misprinted Uniball/sinex coupons in them....had 400+ of them....

That's a bit of a bummer...ahh the good old days.

  • Rosemary conley bars are a good way of using the vouchers, although during my tescoing to around 7 different stores in the last week I have not seen them at all the tescos.
But I did buy some different bars with check the name and post shortly

  • I just did a search for Umbro but couldn't find the original post

    If I bought 4 x £7 umbro items and something for £2 = £30 spend

    could I use: 1 x £6 yellow, 1 x £6 active, 1 x £6 quit, 1 x £5 kids clothing, 1 x £4 blue kids clothing = total vouchers £27 then

the Umbro is on offer at 2 x £7 items for £8 means a till deduction of £12 = £9 profit on my other shopping ?

    has anyone done this ?
