Have you tried the ALTU blueberry yoghurt and honey or cranberry and boysenberry slow energy release bars @ £2.59 on bogof for a 3 pack. I bought 8 packs today, haven't tried them yet but it makes a nice change.

I also bought the flora spread @ £1.88 which has the free red laces and drinks sports bottle - ideal for the summer trips out with my brood. I gave my mum the flora and kept the bottle and laces. The flora didn't cost me anything because I used vouchers so nice freebie there.

Well I did my clothing shop today - 2 lots.

I went specifically to get the Umbro items for DS and asked the clothing SA when the offer expired, she looked at me blankly and said she didn't know there was an offer. So off she went to check and came back and said there was an offer (didn't know when it expires) and that they had no signs sent to them hence no signs showing the offer. I asked if I used a £30 off a £6 clothing voucher would it go through because of the reduction at the till she wasn't certain and I thought I wouldn't risk it just incase.

Anyway, I picked up 4 x Umbro items - making £28 - till took off £12.00, but just incase it didn't work and the vouchers wouldn't scan for the £30 spend, I bought a few other clothing things too which I intended on taking back for a refund at another time. I did this twice and each time:

£5 off a £25 kids, £4 blue, £6 quit, £6 active, £6 yellow so £27 off my total spend plus the umbro discount of £12 so £39 worth of free clothing x 2 = £78 in clothing bargains !

My shopping bills came down from just under £200 to a total of £30 and I may take back £15 worth of clothing, I also earned 1200 points today so another £48 towards my holidays.

Best thing today was meeting another MSE'r  it was lovely to see you and I will PM you later. It's funny but in all my moneysaving adventures this was my first meeting with another forum user

The SA asked me where I got all my vouchers from - I said through the post ........ well that is true and I knew he would scan mine through because he said that yesterday he scanned 100 x £1.00 luncheon vouchers for someone - anyone on here ?

    Happy days

  • I'm going to return some of the stuff tomorrow, hopefully and have another go. Wish me luck!

good luck! my tesco only take 2 vouchers, even if you spend £50 or £60. i saved £11 on a £30 spend but then the jeans were too big for my son so instead of just swapping them i took them back for a refund and then bought the correct sizes, using another 2 vouchers so i doubled my discount :rotfl:

Welshy be warned I used some yellow clothing vouchers yesterday.Idea was keep some we wanted for hols in june and take rest back thus reducing my outlay.I tried 3 transactions of 60.The boys caps dont go through boys but as sports wear so second transaction the cashier put flashing light on and I was dragged off to customer services. She refused to let me put third lot of vouchers through.
She then also said I wouldnt be allowed to return any clothing as I had used vouchers plus she refused to use them all. This was handforth dean.
I tried to return some today at macclesfield.Unfortunately cs from hell was on and marked coupons on my receipt and said I could only change clothing for clothing.
Does anyone know official policy on this with tesco?
I'm now stuck in a quandry as daughter dislikes everything I bought her being a nearly teen thing and I need the money back!

£6.00 off £30.00 quit smoking pack, due to be released Monday, some stores put them out earlier.
There were 2 lots of yellows going about which you get instore but expire today. They will have these again sometime.
Blue ones from signing up with Tesco clothing, or buy from Ebay.
