Wooo nice. I might try it then sometime, just on some 'normal' shopping (if that exists to us lot anymore haha) The problem is there are no self scanners in the ones near me, only in the ones I travel too.
But when I go to those I already 'voucher busy' :rotfl:

    Mortgage-free Glee!
have tried 2 mini shops with the self scanning machine and both ended badly. the machine rejected any coupon and called the supervisor over immediately
it came up with a message "approval needed" on screen and the supervisor had to swipe her card and press a button to accept each single coupon. it was too late for me so i just played dump and pretended did not know how to use the machine and with my temporary clubcard, the supervisor was convinced that i was just stupid and new to tesco, she did questioned did i really buy the item and i did, she explained the machines were set not to accept any coupon at all and said i should use the till next time, but she allowed me to scan all coupons (only 4 in total) for that transaction.

OH tried on another machine and ended the same.

so i won't recommend using them, plus, we could be accused of equipped to fraud when using self scanning machine with so many coupons (like the case of the policeman). however, if the till/ SA accepts the transaction, mr. t is legally obligated to fulfil their side of the deal and cannot come back to us.
    just a thought.

My MIL uses the self scan for all her H&B transactions, usually just paying pennys, so she doesn't have to fluff up her bill, I think if the store lets the vouchers go through then that store will carry on letting you, the stores where people have had probs with selfscan I would guess have their machines set so they wont let them go through without authorisation. Also in my local if you go when busy ie today, they will just authorise all your vouchers as they dont have time to look at them. Im hoping me and my OH can do this today with £60 clothes shop each. Fingers crossed.
