    Hi

I do have a few experiance on this...
I tried to return a CD at a smaller Tesco and this was refused as they only have a smaller section and do not stock that particular CD. Happened with books as well - the same excuse!
When they say, they can't take back ites that the particular store do not sell, what do you say to them?? It is kind of understandable, isn't it??

TBH..Ive not come across a situation where they've refused to take it back, so I cant answer that,,All I can say is that I know 3 other people who have taken clothes back to non clothes stores and unless policy has changed, then thats how it is.....

As i replied to C-Mad.....whether its at the manager's discretion, I dont know.......as I was never refused.

As for your CD, If it was a genuine unopened return, I think i would have asked to see a manager about it.....it seems stupid, that because they dont sell it, that they cant disperse of it.........theyre a multibillion company, surely thats not beyond them....................but on second thoughts....maybe it is.
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

that was totally humiliating, it really affects confidence if the experience was too traumatised. OH was also publicly embarrassed once and now refused to do any clothing shop on his own, the best he would do is mini shop with no more than 3-4 coupons at a time, padded with other daily items. poor him.

i found it more and more difficult to find nice clothes after a few shops, seemed to have all the suitable ones already, even OH began to buy plain white tshirts because nothing catches his eyes anymore. maybe starts to get things like pyjamas, underwear, socks...

can we use coupons on shoes? slippers?

To answer the last part first...yes you can, thats where weve scored lately, i have lots of pairs of sandals, and OH has lots of shoes, foot size is a thing that stays the same in adults, so wont need any shoes for a long time.

Although i have had many chashes with the powers that be in my RandRing days, at the moment, (touchwood) couponing has been far less stressful.

Having said that, I often feel it a bit of a chore, knowing I (and OH) are not going to find anything exciting.

I wear T shirts a lot, so can never really have too many, but it gets boring buying the same stuff.

OH has possibly got at least 2 or 3 of everything(different colours) that suits her in the shop.

I thought i'd actually "lost my bottle" this week.....I'd been in a couple of stores but didnt bother, as there were no suitable candidates on the tills.

The longer you leave it, the harder it is to get back into the swing.

Tonight however spotted a lady i had "used" (to put it bluntly) a few times before........she scanned everything(all £90) with a smile.....so my confidence is up again.......Fortunately ive only got enough Yellows (without using my "blues") to do another 3 "shops" before Monday, so will have a break after that.

I'm so used to the £24 before bogof Band T spend, i cant seem to get out of this habit, I really need to have a good look around Healthcare, and get some of that.

Anyone know if the Deep Heat products are classed as Healthcare.(I'll look on .com to see if it tells me there)
