Hiya Dude, well I believe they were given out at certain Sainsburys, however, I got mine by swapping with a very generous and very coupon-mad MSE member who has a swap thread on Paid to shop.
I successfully used 2 of them in 2 seperate shops

I wasnt sure were to put this...
I nipped into Tesco earlier just to use some points had I from the baby club, all legit spend (tho I dont HAVE a baby haha) I forget exactly what they were now, 200 points for Pampers Newborn £3.74 (give away) Pampers Wipes Huggies Wipes (I keep) and 2x nappy sacks (handy for smelly kitchen stuff) and to make it up to £10 for the extra 250 points.
I also had a points voucher for 100 points on no limit 'Healthy Living' spend.. and I forget what it was 'points' wys £2 on fruit/veg.
So those coupons where all legitimate..
I also had with me 3 x 50p off healthfoods.
Anywayyyyyyy... my point is.. when the SA started to scan them.. He laughingly said to me.. 'Where on earth did you get all these vouchers??' ..
I said.. 'Well.. the baby ones I got for my baby :: koff :: from the baby club. The 2 Healthy living ones are from the Healthy living club..and the 3 green 50p offs.. Well I dunno WHERE I got those ones'
He said 'Oh well they have given you LOADS of points you know'.. (i'd spent £16-some food too)
I said (trying to look completely disinterested.. hahaha) 'Huh? have they? ohh.. :: shrugs :: I never remember to use those burluddy things.. My mum (who's dead -RIP) always says I should save them for my Shopping at Christmas, but I really cant be bothered with all that'
then I skipped off back to the car with my 1002 points :T
(wondering WHY he didnt ask me the same thing when I handed him 17 vouchers last week)Very proud of trying to deal with my debts. LBM 04/09

Regarding the blue vouchers, has anyone else had problems getting the £4 kids spend ones accepted? I've tried twice, each time that was the only one that was refused by the till, each time saying that I hadn't spent the required amount. (I had!) I didn't think I had better go to CS to complain as the bottom of my receipt reads ..coupon..coupon..coupon..coupon...coupon!!!0

Yep, it's a pain to scan and I haven't managed it yet. I wonder if it only works with baby/toddler clothes purchases, as my kids wear between age six and 13 and these clothes don't make the bluey scan.
I nearly got the cash for it the other day at CS, I braved it in spite of other mega-coupon use on the receipt. I kept hold of the receipt and pointed out the kids clothes in my bags instead, telling her that neither my blue £4 nor my £5 yellow had scanned (the yellow one would have scanned but the till op had already taken an adults clothes yellow one, so wouldn't take another the same colour even tho it was kidswear).
Anyhoo, the CS lady agreed to give me the cash for one of my vouchers, but of course that would be the £5 yellow one due to the higher amount and shorter expiry. My blue £4 still sits forlornly in my purse but I will use it in the end!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just got back after spending nearly an hour trying clothes on....Had blue vouchers and green from new quit....spent £40 on womens and £25 on kids...The young girl looked at the voucher then called the supervisor over...They would only accept one £10 blue voucher...They wouldn't even scan any others and I was trying to say well I have spent money on kids stuff too but no..They wouldn't even take the £6 off £30(quit)...I told them to take all the clothes back then I don't want them...ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh In a bad mood now need a drink0

Big headache with my clothing shop today....
very carefully did my sums first, spent exactly 35/25......and shock, horror  when i came to pay my £10 blue, £10 yellow and £7 yellow were all rejected.
Thought about it fior a while & decided to be brave & go to CS.....got 2 steps away from the desk & worked out why. Reading my receipt, the SA hadn't actually scanned a £12 pair of trousers but had packed them for me to take... (so effectively free) so the min spend hadn't been met.
Thought better of challenging it (even though i hadn't been able to use all my coupons ) since this is a scan-happy store.......didn't want to draw attention to myself. I just took the shoes i'd bought back to another store round the corner, so got £20 back.(therefore, the coupons i was able to use meant the clothes i did get only cost me £11)
Inconvienient more than anything, but the shoes are a new line so i can get those another time......
I would go again tomorrow to use up the yellow coupons but i don't need any more *fluff* stuff and the store is a 35 mile round trip for me, so not exactly local.
Do you all think i did the right thing?Autism Mum Survival Kit: Duct tape, Polyfilla, WD40, Batteries (lots of),various chargers, vats of coffee, bacon & wine.0 -
Yes patty, I think I would have done exactly as you have done.
If I have had a few clothing coupons refused on a transaction and the receipt doesn't look as coupon-clogged as usual, I sometimes buy some of the same items again the following week (using more coupons of course). Then I might just return the duplicates with the first receipt. Fiddly, but the items you want to keep work out as very cheap clothing.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Oh no Patty you are now a shop lifter. You should have gone straight to CS & told them you were trying to use loads of coupons but they wouldn't go through because you hadn't spent the required. But now realised why as one of the items hadn't scanned could I pay for it now & you scan the rest of my vouchers.
Did happen to me but the lad still had a wad of vouchers in his hand got to £2.85 & I quickly said dont you think you should stop or the till will owe me money. 2 identicle expensive items of mine were'nt scanned thus why nearly falling into minus to pay.

Sheesh.....
I shall add that to my CV straight away....:o
Thinking about it though.......would you like to make a guess at the response i might've got from CS if i'd said that....
I think the words....this again don't come store might've been involved....:)Autism Mum Survival Kit: Duct tape, Polyfilla, WD40, Batteries (lots of),various chargers, vats of coffee, bacon & wine.0
