The Compers Inn Part 38

Morning,
Must try and get some more comps done today as I didn't get many done yesterday. Have a mountain of washing to do as usual as DS1 kindly brought some from Bermuda too! He went out for a run last night meaning to go on a popular route of 7 mile but took a wrong turning and did over 14 miles! The sweat was dripping off him in buckets when he came in I've never seen anything like it - ugh
Just to let everyone know in true MSE style I usually spend £6.50 on a hair cut and £28 when I have highlights too. Must admit I love my new highlights but probably a once in a lifetime experience as I just wouldn't pay that sort of money.
Enjoy the peace today wingo and have fun with the dog fire**fly.
Wishing everyone a lucky day.

Morning all
Think I'll miss the kids going back today. DD1 starts back at 10.45 tomorrow!
Enjoy your doggie sit fire**fly!
don't squash him though!

Sheils, sounds like my house...my washing basket is never empty! Got the washer going now! What would we do without a washing machine!
Have a lucky day everyone xxBig thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
Good morning everyone:j
Weather doesn't look good here this morning, think its about to chuck it down. Looks like the washing is not going to get dried today.
Thats a lovely picture of you family Becks thanks for sharing it with us.
Hope you enjoy your dog sitting today FireFly - lets hope the rain holds off so you can take him/her for a walk.
Wish I could get my haircut for that round here Sheils the cheapest I can get a cut and blow dry for is £17.50 and can no longer afford highlights, just going grey gracefully
Thats a fantastic picture of the kids off to school Wingo, make sure you chill out today and recover.
Still no joy with my twitter win, have asked him to follow me so I can PM him but not response as yet. Are twitter comps usually this much trouble or is it just me. If I cant sort it I will stick to facebook I think.
Hope you all have a fantastic day.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Is it a company you have won with sylvia? They are usually pretty good as normally they follow you and send yu a direct message if you win£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120

Hope it's a good one for everyone!
How's your hair today sheils? Hope you've managed to get it how you like it. It's very hard to explain to a new one how you like it. At least you're happy with the colour, that would be the hard bit to sort out if you hated it. Was it foils or the dreaded cap? I used to hate that, soooo painful.
Seagulls are the noisy birds around here, one starts and they all set off. We used to have a pair nest on the roof opposite, I used to get so worried about the babies when they came out of the nest. Thankfully they don't do it any more.
We've got the surveyor coming this morning to measure up for the new front porch, can't wait to get it done, it should make the front of the house look a lot tidier.
Have a great day everyone xLuck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

That pic says it all wingo - brilliant! :rotfl:
Love Jiminy Cricket too FF.
Hope you get your prize sorted Sylvia. I have only won once on Twitter and I nearly didn't get it as they said I didn't reply to their DM (I did) It was only a mascara but I chased it up and got it.
The £6.50 is only for a dry cut not a blow dry as well!Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Morning all
Hope everyone is well.
Fire*fly hope you enjoy your doggy sitting. I love going to my dads and taking the dogs for a walk.
Sheils would love to win vouchers like you so i could have an expensive hair cut. Like everyone else i'm as MSE as I can be . £8 for a cut and blow dry and paid £23 when i had it coloured and straightened for the wedding. Normally colour it myself if it needs doing or if i fancy a change. Really needs a good cut now but I am under strict orders by best mate that it has to stay long til after he has visited in two weeks :rotfl:
Wingo strange time for your daughter to go back to school. Bet most of the parents cant wait now for term to start and get some normality and routine back.
Godkids aren't back until tomorrow but they must have had a great summer holiday as they havw had our wedding, then us staying with them for a week so lots of day trips plus they have had two weekends of campin g. Lucky kids! Can't wait to see them again in November.£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120 -

Hey everyone.
Writing this on my iPod because my laptop has decided to break on me.
In the process of trying to fix it but don't want to have to reinstall windows because I haven't managed to backup for a few weeks. Currently trying to do the Sony Vaio Data Rescue thing before reinstalling. It's supposed to backup photos etc so I'm hoping it works.
On the plus side, I got an email from Heart to say that I have won a £100 Superdrug beauty goodie bag and £100 Beautycard points, which cheered me up.
Phone is supposed to be arriving today but no sign of it yet.
Hope everyone is okay.
