When I was a Child we used to have a TV that you had to feed old sixpences into. The times it went off halfway through a programme! Then you had the whole nobody had one scenario, I hated it.

  • Postie was a huge let down today :rotfl: he better make up for it tomorrow or he shall be in the bad books :D

Made me laugh DH got a letter to ask him to attend something -today!! Far too short notice for us to arrange it so he has had to ring and say he only got letter today and cant make it to somewhere quite inaccessible for him on his own at such short notice. We need time to plan so we can do route a few times on buses incase he has to go on his own.

My monday shift might be changing towards the end of september so i will be starting ealier and finishing at three which will be nice if it happens.

Our post was my £323 Tax Refund, that was very quick, and a letter for DH saying he has underpaid his tax by £145! Typical. But they're going to take it back over 12 months so we won't miss it.

Hi, I re-tweeted about the book win asking where he wanted me to send details to so just waiting now. I knew I shouldn't have tried a twitter comp.

Wingo, so sorry about your rat, hope you get a nice one again. My daughter used to have to but had to rehome them as they were always biting.

Well done on the tax refund B.Sue.

When we were young we didn't have a tv, only managed to get an old one when the kids were young. My husband says he remembers putting and old 1 penny in the gas meter, I remember putting and old 2 shilling piece in at my Granny's house. How times have changed.

Hope you all have a good comping day. Just been to Morrison's and got some Newcastle Brown so we can hopefully sit in the garden. It was sunny when we got it, now its overcast, tipical:(

    Hi all,

Hope you have all had a great day. I had a nice day out and got my hair done. I had my hair highlighted and trimmed - £105! Just as well I had £100 in vouchers. I love the colour but don't like the front - couldn't get stylist to understand how I wanted it. Hopefully it will be ok when I have washed it and done it my own way.
DH collected the Pig USB from Staples - it is really cute! We also got a free bottle of coke each and when we got home there was an enormous book from Waterstones to review. Just had some pizza for dinner which was nice and DH making some mugs of tea now so all in all a pretty good day.

  • I managed to get my voucher for my bottle of coke. It will be good to have tomorrow while we are at Teeside park.

Got a busy day tomorrow, getting the kids to school, then to the local jobs fair and finally going to Teeside park for some lunch and a bit of shopping. Going to pop to Pets at home to get a couple more rats. Well we've got the cage so may as well put something in it. Then tomorrow night Im going to go to my running club for the first time on a Tuesday (I usually only go Thursdays while I was building up my distance) so looking forward to that.

So if I dont pop in tomorrow, good luck everybody hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday.

Good luch for tomorrow Z.Slayer at the job fair and hope you have a nice lunch
P.Skull hope you have a good day tomorrow as well.

Sheils, Sounds as if you enjoyed yourself having you hair done, thats save you quite a bit hasn't it.

L.M. I set up a spread sheet for my comps and can't believe how much easier it is than writing everything down. I came in useful as well today as I won a book and was able to go back to my spreadsheet to see who posted the comp so I was able to thank them. Thanks for the info.

Hope you have all had a good comping day.
