Good morning flutterbyuk25 and all,
Youngest son has just come back from collecting his GCSE results from school. The good news is that he has passed them all, he's mainly got A and B grades and even a distintinction in one of them I am so proud of him. He didnt do so well in his German but i know how much he struggled with that and he himself said taking it as a GCSE was his biggest regret at school. I am pretty confident he has qualified for his place in college (he wants to be a quantity surveyor whatever one of those are).
News from my daughter and her partner in South Africa, as i mentioned before, they have set up a 'baby house' for orphaned babies which looks after them until they are able to find perminent homes for them. They have 3 babies in their care at the moment and they are looking to adopt one. I dont know how its done in South Africa, i know they have to jump through hoops with their equivilent of our social services but they are meeting up with the social worker in charge of their care today. Fingers crossed that it will work out for them. They will also continue to foster other babies until homes are found for them.
More news. I was sent a link yesterday to that programme on Channel 4 the other night about Ian Brady and told to watch it as my old RE teacher was in it. He was a lovely teacher. All the girls loved him. He had long blonde hair, pale skin and always dressed well. He had numerous velvet jackets in various colours that he wore with black trousers and a white shirt for school. He looked great. Strangely enough, apart from him putting on a bit of weight and now his hair is obviously dyed mid brown instead of being blonde he looked quite good for his age (although i noticed being a 'yam yam' his audio had been subtitled.... Do all us 'yam yams' sound the same i ask myself?
Right, i am off to take the pampered pooches for a walk, have a great day all. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
