I was begining to feel I was abnormal lol, so many people in the past have said they go for anything and sell it, and obviously my husband mentioned about it.

I apply for things I want and/or need, and if it is suitable for my children, parents etc.

I LOVE the idea of donating things too! We have many raffles etc here for hospices etc and I never have anything nice to donate, so that would be lovely.

I would either sell or give away something if I won two of them, or perhaps tell them to chose someone else. Depends I think.

I once won something I didn't need or want (something little), and I felt so guilty!! Someone probably wanted it.
 Thank you to everyone!

 Officially addicted to Comping

I enter pretty much everything, if I win, I win, and if not, then not. The comps I don't enter are where I don't fit the T&C's (don't have kids so no family holidays or baby things) etc.

If it's stuff I like or want/need or I know someone close to me wants/needs then I'll keep, the rest goes on auction sites if applicable which I then use as a cash booster hobby (it's money I wouldn't have originally so I just lock it away in an ISA every month, regardless of amount, it's roughly an extra £50+ I didn't have) The same applies to surveys there.

If I can't shift it on then I'll be donating to local air ambo charity at end of year. Books I usually label up for BookCrossing (an awesome idea, google!). Heh, it's made me realise I've only been doing this about 7-8 months, feels like forever!

I don't feel guilt or anything like that with regards to taking a chance away from someone who really wanted the prize, I essentially started this as one of the ways to make a little extra cash from the makeover page on MSE and I still carry that ethos.

By the looks of it (in this thread at least) I'm certainly in the minority... either that or I'm being brave :P

I enter pretty much everything, unless I know it is something myself or my nearest and dearest couldn't make use of. Cash is short since I had to stop working, and I am very fortunate that because I have such an array of ages to buy for from 18 months to 88 years, that everything I win always has a home to go to for Xmas or Birthday's, even my ex-husband & his new wife and son benefit from my wins, as they get them as gifts from our DD :rotfl:
I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.
