If you were to start a PayPal dispute they will require that you send the item back (via an online trackable method) before you are issued with a refund.

contact ebay on the live chat support link :) Ask their advice :) Ultimately sending it back will recover your money, then highlight her account to Ebay and pref with pics of the back of the perfumes you have (the fake and the real one) as evidence. Point out others have said htey are fakes too and see if they will still suspend her account. If not then contact the perfume companies she's selling for with your evidence... some of them take fake products VERY personal ;)

  • I take it she is going to pay for the cost of you to send it back?
I would ask her. Then send it back special delivery. And ask her to refund ALL the money you have spent, not just the price you paid.

Let us know how you get on.

Last year I bought some Chanel perfume off ebay. Big mistake! When it arrived it was clearly fake. I was livid, and got on the phone to Trading Standards. They sent someone round, who agreed the perfume appeared to be fake, BUT as Chanel sell perfume to the 'grey' market, it could take weeks to ascertain if it indeed was fake!

    TS gave me these options:-

    1. Get onto the Seller, ask for a refund. Return the perfume, via trackable means. Take the refund and then forget it.

    2. Let TS have the perfume. They'd buy further perfumes from this Seller, and would get the necessary checks done on them. Then they'd prosecute if the perfumes weren't genuine, or for the grey market.

The main problem was, that the grey market sell genuine perfumes, but things like the packaging, etc are of a 'lesser' quality than that provided for the UK.

Good luck Op whatever you decide to do. I took a full refund from the Seller after TS went off with this Sellers details, etc. and vowed never to buy perfume off ebay again.

I bought perfume off ebay before, but I would never buy it from a powerseller. I bought it from someone who's sold bits and bobs obviously a private seller (bit of used clothing, a couple of DVDs, nicknacks etc) and it was an unwanted present and no other perfumes listed. Absolutely perfect transaction and definitely real genuine perfume :) best way to avoid fakes I think :)

The seller has not responded to my e mail asking for an address. I paid by Paypal, is there a way of obtaining the address through e bay or Paypal?

Hey.....I love Paris Hilton's perfume and I'm certainly no fan of hers! I wouldn't care if it was called dog's breath, if you like the smell you buy it.
