Thanks op. I bought 8 bottles of £4.39 Boots eau de toilette and various other things in 3 separate transactions over £15, total spend £58.96. Total points received 4230 points. The points calculation seems like:
    1) The perfume attracts 500 points only (no 'usual' points )
    2) The 10 points per £1 are made up of 4 'usual ' and 6 'extra' points

Also bought 6 tubes colgate pro active on 3 4 2. Machine gave me 2 10% coupons off any toothpaste, price normally £3.75 a tube, 3 4 £7.50 and coupon took 10 % off 7.50, so 3 tubes for £6.75.
Also bought 2 meal deals as my 1st transaction gave me a 30p off a meal deal and I was also hoping the wispa bites part of meal deal would kick in another discount as they are also on 2 4 £1.50 but that part didn't work, so just 2 meal deals 4 £6.28.
So complicated and apprehensive I forgot to use my double points voucher, do these have to be used on the day or can you get them added on another time like the points ?

Oh and there was a huge banner in the store on the wall advertising £5 worth of points when you buy any perfume over 50ml - no other conditions on the banner.:D
Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)

    Many thanks OP. Great deal.
I went to Boots today with the intention of buying 2 or more different So perfumes. However, when i went to the till i asked the SA to check. So original and Kiss me did not show the extra 500 points but Sinful did.
The SA did not seem to be aware of the offer and was a bit relectant to check. She also asked me where i had seen it. I confidently replied it was online and also instore. She then went on to say "That means you will only be paying 24p for perfume."
Anyway, in the end i bought two bottles of So Sinful along with some of bits and pieces. I walked away very happy with my points!
    Thanks once again OP.

    I've been Money Tipped!
The red So was £5.24 for me, but the Superstar and Brit were £3.93 (and I got the 500 points on each bottle). This was only in one store though, the other one I tried every variety of So was £5.24.

Funny that the prices seem to be different store to store.

I bought the red So... and So...Superstar and they were both £5.24 but got 500 points for each.

The So...Exclusive was 3.93 but no points unfortunately.

I went to the large Boots in Brighton yesterday and they had large stock quantities of everything discussed here:So, Cologne Water, etc...not to mention a couple of fragrances I was interested in. But there were no signs anywhere about the 500 extra points offer on fragrances. So I asked a SA and she didn't seem to know anything about it and said "no, we've got the mega points event this weekend". I pointed out that I'd seen the 500 points offer in multiple other branches as well as online. She sort of just shrugged here shoulders and said "no" a couple more times.

I must admit at the time I thought "hmmm maybe it will work as I should ignore this SA; she sees clueless", but instead I assumed the offer had come to an end an left. How annoying - I bet it would have worked! Ah well, lesson learned there..!

Anyone know if it is still working instore today?

    Thanks.

Similar thing happened to me. The SA said he hadn't heard of the 500 points offer, but I asked her to get me the perfume I wanted anyway, and as she went to open the cabinet, she saw a sign for the offer. I reckon if the offer is still showing online, it must still be valid instore too.

I would just buy them, I didn't ask first, and the points went on fine. I think Boots will refund them if you pay and then change your mind straight away?
