Boots Fragrance 500 pts offer - some under £5

I bought three different Boots colognes, and three 'So' perfumes yesterday and received 500 points for each one - thank you OP. These will all go into a tombola for the local cat charity.
For anyone who is a bit wary of trying the deal (as I was) - why not buy one of the 'So' perfumes that is sealed (not all of them are) and if the 500 points don't work then you can ask for a refund. If you buy an unsealed box you will not be able to get a refund.
I don't think anyone has reported a problem with the colognes so I guess the 500 points automatically go on.

Yup they will, one of the ones I had picked didn't go through with the points so I asked her to refund it and I went and got one that did. If the offer hadn't of worked at all I'd have gotten them all refunded!

on my first attemp, i asked at the till and she told me nothing has come up just the half price offer is showing on the screen, she said that she would'nt be able to tell me unless i paid for it etc, so i just bought the 1 at first and hey presto the points were there

They vary. I've had red ones sealed and unsealed.

and one 'So...? Kiss Me' in white/pink box.
These were sealed.

I was at the Metro Centre branch today and picked up 2 of the So..Exclusive sealed 50ml boxes. However I didn't get the extra points on paying, so queried this with a member of staff. She said that the extra points are only available on premium ranges of perfume and not the So.... bottles etc.
I pointed out that there was
a huge banner in the store saying £5 of points when buying any 50ml fragrance. She went and spoke to a manager and said that they have had 9 people in using a 'scam' on this and they had decided not to offer it on the cheaper brands. Fair enough, but they still had the sign up, so I pointed out their mistake and decided that I wasn't giving in! Eventually, the manager agreed to give me the points and I got the extra £10 of points on my advantage card.

Sounds like this is just store specific but check your receipts carefully when paying for this

It has been mentioned a few times in this thred that the the So Exclusive isn't working. All the others 50mls have for most people.

So....? Exclusive is not working. It doesn't matter if it is sealed or not. I got one of each and the points didn't go on, so marched back after 5 minutes and was refunded for both without question.

So....? Sinful worked for me.

It's a mixed bag. Some work, some don't.

Just wait for the receipt, if the points don't go on, just ask for a refund. The worst they can say is no, and then you can ask to speak to a manager. It's not like you have taken the box home and then brought it back.

PS. The lavender cologne is nice. It's quite strong mind.
