Boots Fragrance 500 pts offer - some under £5

I went in last week to buy the rose and lavender colognes which worked fine.
Today I went in and tried a charlie spray can and a so? can spray....both didn't work so asked for a refund straight away.
Then I tried Panache 75ml can for £2.49......the 500 points worked fine.
So I bought more and also used the 150 points for over £15 spend from the machine.
I bought 11 cans , which make great pressies plus gave me some nice points on my card.
Girls were great at the tills and all were planning to get some.

How did you get this to work on the 'cans' when everyone else is buying perfume? If it does work on cans then this is an excellent deal!!

I suppose in the system the 75ml Panache spray cans come under perfumes and fragrances.....yes it's a great deal

:rotfl: How is this a scam? This is Boots' own promotion. It's not our fault if there are savvy shoppers who spot bargains. I went to the Hammersmith store and the SA was clueless about the offer and I didn't want to purchase the SO fragrance if the points were not being awarded. I will be making a number of trips to boots this week!

Too right. If they didn't want us to "scam" them, they should spend money on having analysts or whatever you call them who will check offers and what not before they are released.

To be fair, the Boots Colognes are probably getting repackaged or will have a new look soon, so they are getting rid of all their old stock. Plus the points go on the Boots card which means you will have to go back instore to spend the points and hopefully buying other stuff which you will spend money on.

I will be going back tomorrow. Can someone just confirm which So...? products work with the free points? So far Exclusive and Brit have not worked for me...........

Brit works for me, so does So original (the red box) and Superstar. I think its only Exclusive in the 50ml that doesn't work to be honest.

The exclusive didn't work for me either, the others did..
